simakai Making cosplays when I'm not buying figures.

I'm a girl in her twenties, currently studying pattern making. I'm from Montréal, Québec, Canada, that means my first language is French, so sorry if I make any mistakes.

I happen to have two hobbies related to Japan: cosplay and figures. I also dress up as lolita. Which basically means I'm always broke. ^^;

I started collecting figures when a friend bought me a Rurouni Kenshin gashapon, I bought a few figures of my own in the next con, and my collection was started, but it's only since I have a full-time job that I really made this a hobby, and got more and more completed models.

There are two types of figure I prefer to collect: cute guys and strong women. I will only buy a figure when I like the character (or at least the series), well, most of the time! I'm a big Queen's Blade fan, as one who has read my reviews may have guessed (goes with the strong women type, I guess). I also plan on getting most Puella Magi Madoka Magica figures out there, because I just love this show. Other than that, it goes with my favorite fandom of the moment, and the price. I just can't resist a good deal. Sales kill me all the time. ^^;

As I said, I'm also a cosplayer, I love to get figures of my favorite characters, but also to dress up as them and take nice pictures. I cosplay as a girl or a guy, sexy or baggy, I don't mind, as long as the character fits me physically and mentally. You can check my DA if you're interested.

That's about it for me. My last random comments:
-This world needs more guys figures. And more sexy figures for guys, and with more action poses, most of them are soooo boring, they just stand there...
-This world needs more Guilty Gear and Blazblue figures.
-Anime needs more fujyoshi characters. And less tsundere.
-SHAFT is love. (Mostly.)
-I've been to Comicket once, and I want to go back because it's awesome. But Japanese cosplayers aren't as good as the pictures on their blogs...
-I just tought about it: what if Wave made a Beach Kings line? *drools*

-The whole Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei crew.
-Ky, Eddie/Zato_1, Baiken and Anji Mito from Guilty Gear
-Jin, Noel, Tsubaki, Hazama and Kokonoe from Blazblue.
-Irma from Queen's Blade.
-Arcana Heart 3 figures... Petra would look awesome!
-Dragon Slayer from BRS.
-A cool model of Emperor Mateus from Dissidia. And Kain too.
-A Hoshin Engi line (coming with a new complete and awesome anime - I know I'm dreaming.)
-Allelujah and Marie from Gundam00 (and more great canon couples from anime in general, the girl is fun but I want the boy too!)
-Victorique from Gosick. A very detailed one.
-Pandora Hearts' crew... (partially answered, but I want scaled figures! *still ordered those adorable chibis*)
-Katsuragi Keima from The world God only knows. As a Figma.
-Morinaga and Tatsumi from Koi suru Bokun. Then my life would be complete.
