- HLJ's new Paypal Policy is just horrible!
10% - 1 month ago (Updated 29 days ago) - sonoThis might not sound like a big deal to most of their customers residing N.America and Europe but it sure will have a huge impact on their customers coming from Middle East, South Asia, Africa & Brazil. Most of the anime collectors from these places are not happy with HLJ's new decision to not process Credit/Debit cards directly and instead have PayPal process the payment.
Why? Because Paypal doesn't support these countries! The ones where it does (India,Turkey,Brazil) people are restricted to sending money only to another citizen of the same nationality. i.e Indian to Indian account only.
- Packaging quality getting worse?
72% - 1 month ago - MawikI've ordered from HLJ a couple of times before. Until now everything has been finely packaged but these four came in a box with-out the air bubble protectors. Did the employees forgot to add it? I'm glad only the bottom corner of Kaito's box was a little wrinkled.
I will order from them again, I'm hoping it was just a fluke and they forgot.

85% - 2 months ago - proxy1Over the past month I have noticed that more and more figures are not getting HLJ customary 10% discount, a few get 5% but 3 of Orchid Seed's future releases and Iris by Alpha Max get no discount. I emailed them about it, particularly about Minori by Orchid Seed which the advertised on MFC as 8886 yen (10% off) but their website lists as 9333 (no discount). I have gotten no response. I have been happy with HLJ up to this point, but they are normally more expensive (slightly) with the discount, without it...I will probably look for a new place to order from, at least for select figures.

Super easy to navigate site
Private warehouse is amazing
Plenty of payment options
Great for standard release figures and gunpla
Things cost a bit more
Takes a while for pre-orders to ship
Customer service is a hit or miss
Selection can be limited at times

66% - 6 months ago (Updated 6 months ago) - ExandStock is limited with items that aren't recent usually out-of-stock. Items indicated back-order seem to take forever to be requested. Prices are a little higher than other places. Very slow processing from initial order placement to shipped out. They do have good sales that can get you items for cheap.

64% - 6 months ago (Updated 6 months ago) - go9ma123Ordered few items and few days later they have replied with shipping price. They had two options which was SAL or EMS. EMS was way expensive back days. After paying fully with shipping (SAL), takes another 1-2 days to ship out. So, total 5 days after ordering items... SAL took about 2 weeks recive... When I got the shipment, they had packed well. If someone who can wait, this is good place to buy.

*Great older items.
*Lots of sales.

39% - 7 months ago (Updated 7 months ago) - NEON7Horrible experience on my first buy, my order was delay like 43 days so i began a dispute on paypal to protect my purchase, the funny about all of this, is that my order arrive the other day but was hold by customs, when i try to log in the site because i needed an invoice my account was closed, becouse they dont like the paypal sytem, they told me i should wait 90 days until i can claim and after that begin an investigation for the lost package, so my account was close i couldn't print an invoice to show the values in customs, i decide to reject the package and send back again.
