Hi, I saw that you own that huge Nyanko-sensei plush ITEM #24595
Weird question, I know, but... would you mind weighing him? I ordered him from AmiAmi and the shipping costs they gave me seem ridiculously high, so I'd like know if he's really that heavy.
    Thank you in advance!

rowynAlthough I live near a Kinokuniya (and a Book-off), I never actually tried them as a resource, I really should. Its been so many years since I did my collecting, but it would be nice to complete the collection. There's a blog where I found scans of many FSS artbooks and the entire english-language manga, in case you're interested archive-scans.b... .. I prefer the actual items but the scans do help figure out which of the many books are worth tracking down.

Kinokuniya was the US distributor for the FSS. When I saw this in the back of one of the books, I figured that it wouldn't hurt to try here. Got a few volumes from the NY store but had much better luck calling the LA store. The best part: the books were still available at list price! The only extra we had to pay was shipping. No tax since the state we live in is a tax free one. ^_^

rowynthanks! personally, i'm glad to see there are still fans of this fascinating series so thanks for starting this club. i own most of the english language manga, except for 4 volumes i've not been able to track down. i'm not actually that far into the story, maybe only volume 8? if i had to pick, i'm a bigger fan of the artwork than the story so i've accumulated mostly stuff like artbooks, shitajiki, and phone cards. i see you work on the models. that's awesome! fss mecha are breathtaking. i don't usually even like mecha.

So far, I just have 2 models: one of the KoG versions and one of the Fatima Ssizz. (I make kimekomi dolls too so even these are still on the boxes. T_T) I do have all of the english language releases but I'll say this: it took me the better part of 6 years to hunt them all down! Had decent luck finding them at the Kinokuniya book stores but had to call all over the US to find them all. (They don't have a web store...)
