So I pre-ordered an extreme option set for Robot Spirits Extreme Gundam Type Leos along with a Robot Spirits Strike Rouge from Nippon-Yasan about 2 or 3 months ago.

I got a little worried after the extreme option set had been released in Japan yet my order had no news of it undergoing processing or shipping after a week so I kinda rushed NY with an email asking about my order status and within a day I got a reply stating that it was processing.

Of course I gotta a little annoyed with the status change only after I had sent an email though I had no idea at that time that a typhoon had hit Japan, which was the reason for the delays.

Anyways my pre-order arrived about a week after their reply and...

Yeah that's right. They shipped me a PG Strike Rouge instead of the Robot Spirits one. No wonder the box was so ridiculously huge when the postman was carrying it.

Anyways I guess I should email them about it and ask if they want it back or something?

Or maybe not. >:P

gundamsone (5 years ago) #1768109They'll ship you out your item but they'll also ask you to ship it back and offer you a full refund in return shipping (which is exactly what happened with me)...however they never refunded me in shipping even though I attached all the receipts in my e-mail to them.
Be prepared to take a big loss b/c those PG boxes will be costly to ship back overseas via airmail.

In situations like this, is it possible to ask the store to pay the shipping upfront? Because it's not buyer's fault they got a wrong item. And what if the buyer can't afford to send it back, I mean, if they would have to pay for the shipping by themselves?

I really wouldn't send an item back if I wasn't 100% sure the store would refund me the shipping fee.

You could probably just pay the difference and not bother with the shipping.

Alright. Yeah I guess it isn't fair to the company as well as the guy who paid for the order and got something wrong. I'll send them an email to let them know.

Haha! Yeah I know right, this is way better. I just felt kinda bad for getting something that's almost 3 times worth what I paid for and not to mention the insane shipping charges this thing would have if I actually ordered it.
