Hello! This is my first blog post here on MFC! Happy to be a part of this wonderful community! :3 I know may is long and gone, but I had a convention back in may where I was able to snag up some wonderful loot! Usually cons are when I spend the most money (no shipping cost wee)! Also I am in the moment and it feels so rewarding to come home with wonderful treasures.

My yearly con that I always go to is ACen in Chicago :) It has been 7 to 8 years roughly I have been attending, with it being my first con. Needing to go with a budget on hand because I feel when I get there any money I have is burning a hole in my pocket. so here it is my wonderful loot of may:

I feel this year I found an interest in figma more :) Figma and Scale figures to me are both equally wonderful. I know many people choose one side, but in all some characters I feel it would be more fun to pose while others I feel they would look better frozen in time as a scale.

While at the con I did do some grab bags. I am pretty sure I am not in favor of them anymore since this year what I got in them looked like items they couldn't sell (note: the clamp pawn pieces). Surprises are my thing don't get me wrong, but I don't want to feel like I have been ripped off a little. I love trading figs, they are wonderful, yeah sometimes you end up with a figure you don't want and spend like 7 to 10 bucks at times but the thrill to me is worth it! I did end up pulling from some trading boxes a white power ranger, Kuroneko (so happy!), Sailor V, Sailor Mercury, & Sengoku Nadeko which might I add I was all very happy with in the end.

Sooo in all may was a good haul in my opinion <3

MarionEtx5 years ago#3105187Nice loot and excellent Figma/Figuarts choices. That small plush neko-chan above the Pikachu(?) is too cute (I'm a sucker for random cute goods these days).
I love the idea of grab bags, but it often seems like half the goods inside are not something I'd keep so I'd rather spend the money on goods I'd want. That being said, if I saw some cheap packs at a con I'd probably get one for the fun factor.
I also love scales and Figmas equally as well but it wasn't always so; Akuma Homura changed that for me. These days I'm ordering scales though because there's only 3 Figmas (+ 1 Pluto Figuarts) left on my wishlist.

Thank you!! :)) this little neko-chan?

I plan to be on the hunt for more of them during my next con! I have no idea what the company is called because I can't read Japanese, but his expression is priceless! I am always a sucker for random kawaii goods as well!

Yeah it is all about the fun factor, I think next time I am going to observe better their overall items they sell before jumping in.

My first sigma was spidey, and I loved the poses you can do with him, he makes for an excellent figma because he has so many different poses to go off of (web slinging and what have you).
