Re-class replacement problems

KosuraKosura2 years agoDiary
About 2 weeks ago I made a post about the Re-class I received from max factory: blog/25116&...

I got her with a part broken off, laying in the box just like "sup".
I wasn't sure what to do but someone said GSC supported it and their service would help me out. Thanks again CHRISTOWN, I didn't know that at first XD

So I contacted GSC and got a quick response. They were sending me a replacement for it which I received today. I'd consider myself lucky if ....

Would you look at that, she's broken as well. Only difference is that it's still attached to it.

While opening I noticed how it felt like the exact same part felt a little loose and upon closer inspection it was simple to see why I thought that. Cuz the exact same part is broken on the bottom.

I talk a lot about how the figures are getting more expensive and I get a lot of people almost attacking me saying that the quality has improved so much and even gsc's answer to me saying it's getting to expensive and they can't justify it, not by any excuse they throw in our faces (which some people defend by throwing the same excuses), is: If we lower the price we need to lower the quality.

But over the years I've seen the quality of the figures that I get, go down. Whether I get figures with ugly looking seem lines, bad paint jobs, overall imo a bad looking figures when it comes to detail (talking about tell your world's face) or a straight up broken figure. If quality has gone up, I haven't noticed that -_-

Revien (2 years ago) #4741035You could try contacting them again about it. I had a similar problem when I received ITEM #144312. Her face had shiny spots all over, and when I got my replacement in the mail she had even more issues (though no shiny spots! Yay?).
Even if it's a "common problem", if GSC is paying for a replacement to be sent, they should at least be checking it over to be sure they're sending you a non-defective item.
Nowadays I don't even contact them about Nendoroid defects. I wait till a few more come in and send in a form about 'em all at once, since I seem to have such bad luck about it.

I did email them instantly. Took some pictures and added them in.
I just got a reply saying sorry for the difficulty, we'll sent a replacement.

And I'm fairly certain it'll have the same problem. Because it's not just my 2 figures on my previous post someone mentioned that they had the exact same part break off and aperently we aren't the only ones with that exact same part breaking.

I used to never contact them for flaws and such except for when it's really broken. But over the past year, year and a half I've been so dissapointed by the figures I've been getting. When my devil Homura arrived in the terrible state she was in that just tipped it all over. And from that point on I email the companies whenever there's a problem. Bad paintjob, broken parts, malfunctioning parts, bad quality overall, seamlines and so on and so forth.
As I mentioned the figures I've been getting having been going down in quality.

Titan_Scientist (2 years ago) #4724068If it's happened twice, it could be a common problem with this figure, maybe that spot is where it's fragile and easily breakable.

At the other side of the figure it has the exact same piece and both of the figures have no problems at that side. When my replacement arrived and I noticed that it was broken I took my first one (with the piece completely broken) and pushed on the other side of it to see if it's really that fragile ... I needed to use quite some force (for a figure part) to make it bend slightly so it is mostlikely a flaw in the mold or something.
