Regarding Site Login IssuesRegarding Site Login IssuesMisc

Hi,

After our server move today, anyone still having login problems with the site, please try the following:

Force a full refresh for the site by pressing CTRL + F5 keys at the same time on your favourite browser (Firefox, Chrome, Explorer, etc.)

Clear myfigurecollection.net's cookies and data from your temporary cache of your browser to make sure that you have the most recent version of the web page.

Try accessing myfigurecollection.net from an alternative network, like a neighboring WiFi network or by using a mobile internet connection. Failing that, may try looking at the DNS.

A Domain Name System (DNS) allows a site IP address to be identified with the myfigurecollection.net domain name. This information is stored in the so called DNS.

You can clear your local DNS cache to make sure that you load the most recent cache that your ISP has. For Windows - (Start > Command Prompt > type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter).

hare754 years ago#4814744Noticed that my power has kinda been stuck for a while. Anyone else has this problem?

There seem to be a few small "kinks" left in the system. I'm sure they will get fixed as soon as possible. There is similar issue in the picture section (loads of POTD's today) ^^;

I noticed the host change right away, "Sparta Inc. AESO" is on the PeerBlock Level 1 list, blocked for anti-p2p activity or some such thing...

Thanks!He mentioned a few months back that he was looking into it for next year but that's all we knew about the intended server move. I found out by hitting the 503 error, just like everyone else.

Tiamat264 years ago#4790277Thank you for the post. I am glad I was able to get in via the French language and send you that PM that may have prompted this News bulletin.
??? Your PM was sent an hour later.

As Katto said below, even us staff didn't know about the move. Because of the same login issues we've had, it prompted me to the article in the hope it will help someone, not knowing what's going on. Only my phone refused to let me login at all first, but after the browser was cleared, it worked.
