Comments Alter 1/8 Sanya and Eila

  • victorviper4 years ago#10586652Thanks for the comment. I see you also support the idea of Barkhorn-Hartmann getting the Alter treatment :).

I support anything with Erica in it :)

Picked up my Sanya&Eila today. I like them even more than I expected. My thoughts are in line with your review. They're simple, but it captures Humi's original illustration and their characters very nicely.

I hope the new Brave Witches series encourages Alter to put more out. The second PV is out for that if anyone hasn't seen it yet.

victorviper4 years ago#10848987I was also worried that she'd be a space hog with that long bench, although from looking at some user photos, it looks like Michiko is pretty small in scale (maybe 1/9 or 1/10). In any event, I'll look forward to the review.

She is pretty small. I would say around 1/9 or maybe a really small 1/8 (considering she is probably a girl with a short length). The size of her base is about the same as any other Strike Witches prize figure, so it's not really different there actually!

Thank you! I have to be honest and let you know there is one other review I now almost finished that I will upload beforehand, but she will come right after that!

Maakie4 years ago#10798970I actually picked her up at a con for...also almost nothing. It's really a cute and small diorama, but I can understand why she is not popular with Strike Witches fans.
Actually just yesterday my husband said he thinks it's one of the most boring figures I have, oh man. xD I still have a bit of a soft spot for her. But I'll write that all up and post the review hopefully soon! :)

victorviper4 years ago#10664287It's interesting that you mention that Michiko figure. I've thought about getting that figure a number of times (she can be found for next to nothing), but like you said, she just doesn't really fit with the rest of a SW collection.

chiechie4 years ago#10716182great review! *v* they look really adorable together, imo not enough cute yuri figures out there and the tails twisting together is insanely cute ahhh
though I haven't seen much of strike witches it's tempting to pick up and watch fully (cute kemonomimi girls with guns? yes pls)

Strike Witches has aged really well, as it's one of only a few anime that I rewatch regularly. Plus, as you said, cute kemonomini girls with guns-what's not to like?

Maakie4 years ago#10660489Really nice pair~ I'll have to see after my reorganisation if they would still fit my collection. As you said in the beginning, most of the SW figures come with their Striker Units and give off a more though vibe. I already do have one "non fitting" SW figure ITEM #85718 (actually I'm halfway typing on a review of her) and I'm not sure how good she will fit when I have my collection out again, hrmm.
Voted Shirley-Francesca in your poll btw! :3 But Yoshika-Lynette would be very nice too!
