Also check out these balloons I used in the diorama. Many times, I will use an inspirational item within when creating a set. I tend to like more abstract diorama for the most part rather than realistic rooms or sets as many gorgeous photos done by other users would. Earlier in my set building, I would use three easy steps include: 1.Fabrics - great for backdrop, flooring, wispy effects.
2. Faux Flowers - especially good for quick displays it's just a good accent accompaniment, particularly since flowers always look good with female figures, and you can use flowers that compliment the character's colors.
3. Special Item / Element: This is what I usually look for first, it is something special that you can build your idea off of. This may be something you have somewhere in the house like a miniature pillar an ornate frame, perfume bottles, etc. I usually will come across a cool item that one special item that you may be like, hey that would be cool for a display, and perhaps later down the road you will have a figure to match it. This is a great place to start off and build your set from this. You can find them online, I went to a site that sells just balloons, if you need the website I can look. But I got to choose what type, color, shape of balloons and to air them up, I used a straw to inserting it into the air hole, blow it up, and seal it with a hair straightener.
For This G.I.Miku, I used miniature balloons
