How is good current EMS shipping, for a polystone figure? How is good current EMS shipping, for a polystone figure?

Long story short, I found this figure: ITEM #4705
for about 11.8k on AmiAmi, B/B (which to me at least means it's not going to be broken from the factory). I was pretty excited because I've been building my Louise collection up slowly, and it seemed like a good price for this one.

However they don't seem to have any precautions or return policy in place on their end, in case it arrives broken, and I'm kind of worried what it will be like even when it ships through EMS, with about 3 other figures (all of those are part of a preorder, so this will be later). I've ordered a resin before, but never a polystone. Apparently it's more fragile. What's likely to break in transit, and how hard is it to glue back together? I do hope they also pack it carefully in the first place, it would suck for them to break it before the box even ships. I'm honestly considering cancelling it, but I don't know if there's any other way I'd get this...

Thoughts, experiences?

I'm not sure how well she's packed, being an older figure, but I recently had ITEM #516474 shipped to me and he arrived fine! The only break was when I took him out because it was a thin connection on the base, and it was a very easy fix.

xCommando (8 months ago) #30899073I wouldn't cancel that one, it should be fine! I own it and Louise herself is actually two pieces that magnetically connect at her waist, as well as the two halfs of her skirt. All parts of the figure: the two halves of Louise, bed/base, pillow, shoe, skirt parts, are packed into Styrofoam slots pretty snugly if I remember correctly, as mine had no damage. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
The polystone figures of Louise( if you even want them :O ) that you will need to worry about are these ones: ITEM #6784 , ITEM #47869
They are a doozy. :o

Well a decent amount of people on the item page's comment section were complaining about it coming in with scratches or various things broken... but I guess I'll take a chance on it, thanks for your comment. If it does come in broken hopefully it won't be as bad as the sirg's breaks, and hopefully I will be able to repair it just as easily.

I've had these polystones damaged during shipping with EMS: www.sideshowtoy... and ITEM #68241

Witch king had multiple pieces of the robe broken (smaller pieces from long ends), in total maybe 10 pieces. I managed to glue them all back very well, you cannot notice that they were ever broken - they were "cut off clean" to say. Anyway it's a lot larger and heavier statue than scaled anime figs. Then again Choun had both ears + headband broken and I managed to glue them back, but there's very small paint chip missing on the headband (noticeable only from above).

If you want it, you should order it - it's possible something will break during shipping, but it's likely you can glue them back without problem or with very minor damage.
