PlatoG (5 months ago) #34298821thank for everyone, i have my doubt and the face is a bit off comparing with the other user pics..but it is so tempting to believe that it maybe genuine
better don't let the greed get the better part of me , thank all!

100% bootleg without a doubt so don't feel any regret.

The bootleg version has longer lashes like the one in your pic. The original has clearer eyes without the long exaggerated lashes.

comparing the box print offset with legit box photos in the gallery and the bootleg box images on the web.
The offset is the same as the bootlegs.
    Just a note.

The pictures aren't very clear. What I usually do is look at MFC's bootleg's pics (just click the "warning counterfeit items exist" on the MFC page and it shows photos tagged as bootlegs), also check cheap e-bay auctions as they are generally bootlegs (assuming they have pics of the item and not stock pics) and compare carefully with genuine pics to see what are the noticeable differences in the box and item. Usually the differences are obvious, either in terms of box art quality or paint / build quality on the item itself. Once you familiarize yourself with the key differences, you'll be able to look for them when you inspect the item in store and be able to make the judgment call.

Most likely it's a bootleg since the price is too good and the genuine item sticker is missing, but if you think there's a small chance it's genuine, it's better to spend the time on the research.

PlatoG (5 months ago) #34296337Thanks, but besides not having the sticker, it looked like real deal to me ...
    struggling now

Have you seen it in person? If so, I wouldn't analyze the box too much; instead focus on the figure's head. See if her face feels off, which you can usually tell by looking at the eyes and mouth. Also check if the hair has a gradient (it should darken a bit in the tips, while the bootleg seems like a flat red all over). There are bootleg pics on her MFC page for comparison.

If it is legit, that price is a steal! She easily goes for over $200 in aftermarket.

Chris_Duvall (5 months ago) #34292833Missing sticker and a price too good to be true...pretty sure it's a bootleg.
But if it's a local seller, ask for a meet-up to inspect the figure carefully.
Cantisama (5 months ago) #34290929It's hard to tell without a clear pic of the figure. From the price, I would guess bootleg.
