Heldrik (2 months ago) #35639221I was already intrigued by your Thumbelina figures, but seeing that Little Red Riding Hood set made me look for info about the artist. Good Lord, is that drawstyle sweet and cute, I may have to call Wilford Brimley because of all the diabetes it gave me.

Anyway, even with a missing part, that's still a really nice set, as shown on your photo. As for the figure that's half the girl it used to be, the black and white photo totally looks like it could have a combination of this or any record scratch sound effect playing in the background before Sound of Silence begins to play.

Don't get me started on POP's artworks. xD I'm a huge collector of figures styled after their works and collect their artbooks and doujinshi. :) My next loot blog I will post will also have a few of their doujinshi I recently picked up, if you also want to see some of their more niche work. :)

Haha. *record scratch* You probably wonder why I was found without legs, let me tell you a story...

BVibes (2 months ago) #35613842I missed that somehow, it looks cool! But yea I can see it might be impractical.

Oh with the new layout and videos being tiny, I am more surprised if someone does see the video lol. Anyway, you would need to have a pretty small (handmade to perfect size for this set?) rotating base and even then I wouldn't know how to display them the best! But it's cool to see them rotate for a while and in a video like that. :) That makes me think I should probably make gifs of all the video-parts for my reviews for them to be more easy ti spot, hrmm. I think I will make a poll for that with my next blog. :)

Yeah, these are very neat! There is also a video inserted with the review where you can see them on a rotating base. Although it looks nice for a video, it's quite impractical to display them like that. ;)
    Glad you enjoyed the review!

Rajke (2 months ago) #35612381Nice and cute set. The last one has some humor.
Grandmother making a photo of little red with the defeated wolf
The quality is not bad for figures this age. I hope you find the missing part for Legless Little Red.
    Great review.

Haha, I never thought of it like that! It's almost like she's posing for a picture indeed. xD

For the age/price, these are very decent! And well, this set was sold to me without legs, so I will have to rebuy this figure... TT^TT

    Thanks for liking the review!

BVibes (2 months ago) #35612494Another cool set! I like how you display them. I wonder how they would look on auto-rotating bases too, if you displayed them like your photos where they touch.
    Thanks for the review! :D

AppleNapoleon (2 months ago) #35605479I'd happily take either set - blue would match my already owned POP Alice figures, but the pink would make an interesting contrast!
I don't comment often but I really enjoy all your reviews - thanks for posting them!

Aww, so sweet! Thank you! :D And I hope you acquire the Alice set soon! :)

solluxcaptor (2 months ago) #35606079So adorable! Nice review :D

Thanks! :D Which one do you prefer, this one or Thumbelina? :)

Stacycmc (2 months ago) #35608225Hahaa...some more little cuties!! These little figures are so precious! Thanks for sharing these with us as well! :D
...OH, and I love you're classic murder scene (her corpse missing it's legs) and the fade in of the "hello darkness my old friend" music. LOL...cracked me up!

Thank you for liking the review! :)

And I'm glad that got some chuckles out of people. xD
