Displaying Charms/Illustration BoardsDisplaying Charms/Illustration Boards

Hey guys!

I own a bunch of charms and illustration autograph boards and was wondering how you guys display them in your room? I know a lot of people use cork boards for their charms and pins but I was wondering if there were any ideas other than that? Also for illustration boards, I wanna steer away from hanging them up b/c I don't really wanna ruin them.
If you guys have pictures of your displays, that would help a ton too! Thank you!!

I mainly use a cork board, but another option is this type of metal grid. PICTURE #2204166 There are also larger ones, and even a heart-shaped one, I think.

Thacchi (26 days ago) #57995552I put all merch and gifts I've received from my artist friends straight on the wall using Pritt Poster Buddies! Image here
I hope to make something prettier in the future, but I think this was a pretty neat idea of mine for the time being. :p

That’s actually a really clever idea. I might try that. I like how it blends in with the wall!!

LadyLavellan (27 days ago) #57977858First of all, thank you MomoChanDayo for putting up this article! I've had the same question for the longest time! Secondly, BLESS YOU LINA FOR SHARING ALL THESE LINKS and this wonderful alternative to a cork board!! I didn't even know magnet boards were a thing!! I'll definitely be looking into purchasing my own! <3

You are very welcome! I am glad they are helpful! Another user here posted about them since I too was looking for an alternative for cork boards and these were perfect! They just look so lovely and I highly recommend them to anyone! There are a couple of different styles at Ikea, but you may be able to find other styles elsewhere! I haven't checked because I found the white one at Ikea to be a good fit for my room.

On a magnet board that I use to display fan merch, I used magnets to help display buttons/badges. I bought heavy duty magnets from Office Depot to display stuff on my Kuroo shrine, but ended up using magnet pins later on so I took the magnets from the heavy duty ones and stuck them to the back of the badges so they could be displayed on the board. I have a couple of pictures: Here and here!

Lina (27 days ago) #57970901I display my charms/straps/keychains on magnet boards. I got the idea from another user.

Magusfigures (27 days ago) #57970909I use a magnetic whiteboard to display my charms! (pins/buttons are a little harder to display on it tho haha). Mostly I've been hanging the strap findings from magnets/magnet hooks, but not too long ago I found some tiny, powerful magnets that can suspend charms just by sticking to the clasp.
Here's a picture, though this was from before i bought those small magnets, haha.
I also have a collection of enamel pins from different ski resorts, and I've been displaying those with a Riker display case. They're relatively inexpensive, and keep my pins looking nice. :3 If you're interested in the world of display boxes, coin display boxes might also be fun to display anime charms with (as long as they're not too big)!

I think magnet boards are cute! I might try it out and try decorating mine. Also, your charms are too cute! Thank you for the help!!
