Hello

I have two question about a figure I rewiewd a While ago. The Sasori of the red sand with the third kazekage puppet. www.senseitoy.c...

So today i opend hos box again to look for a Protector to the silver coin with the figure number on. When I notice a smal item I haden't notice before.

Heres a picture
https://static.myfigurecollection.net/image/Kirasenpai1558549296.jpeg

I can't figure out where this item is suposed to be it looks like a smal bag but I don't know where it is suposed to be on the figure. Dose anyone now where tis item is suposed tp go or what it is for.

Also I have a question about the coin. When I first unboxed the figure I opend the lid/Protector for the coin.it smeld really bad but I decided to display the coin with out The lid. And now months later I decided to get lid/protecter again because I have worried enough that the figure would begin to smel. Which unfortently they have. Acording to me I asked my parent's and they say that they can't smell anything. But i still Think it stinks where i display my figures. And are trying to are them ont right now.

But I am still worried that the smell will stick to them..what do you guys Think Will the smell go away or will it stick to them forever. Is there something else i can do so make the smel go away

Edit:
Thank you all so mutch for your help. And that you guys took time to do some reachersch to help me.

Rajke (3 months ago) #59854110Interesting question about the smell. My dad works with metal and he is a coin collector so i asked him about this. He is certain that the coin itself won’t smell. That raises the question if the coin was cleaned with something chemical before it was put in the case because that could explain the smell. Aniway the smell would be gone if you placed it in a well ventilated room.
Coins like these are placed in the case without touching them. In rare cases it happens and that would result in a visible fingerprint over time. The reason why coins are placed in a protector is to prevent touching the coin.
There are four qualities of coins:proof, brilliant uncirculated (bu), uncircilated (unc) and circulated. The coin you have falls under proof or bu quality and that simply means it was not made to take it out it’s case.
Another possibility is that a person before you touched the coin and placed it back in its case. That can explain why you can smell it and someone else not. The explanation that was mentioned earlier about the body fragrance provides that.
Hope this info will help you.

People have differing levels of sensitivities to smells, so it could quite well be possible that your parents can't smell something, but you can. Smells can stick to figures - not sure if it just binds to the plastic, or if the plastics they use have a certain level of porosity, but it can happen. Generally the nasty smells do tend to fade with time, but some may remain if you get up close and personal, and sniff the figure. Have had issues with getting figures that smelled of smoke, and that's the worst :/. The chemicals in cigarettes do like to bind to plastic, so a thorough wash can be needed for that.
So I'd say avoid putting smelly things near figures if possible, lest they do pick up the scent.
Edit: I see in the vid I linked there's a coin that fits in a stand, which you can put with the figure. I shouldn't imagine something like that would transfer a scent to the figure itself, especially if it sat alongside.

Thank you!! So that's what it was for it makes sense.

This is the coin

I took it out of it's protection because I thought it was just there to protect the coin wen it was shipped. It have not touched the figure or the other figures. And the coin got a stand so you are suposed to display it with the figure. Now the coin is back in the Protecion But i am really scared that the smell won't go away. But it might just be me that smell it

AlienEmoji (3 months ago) #59829798i compared the photo in your review and the promotional one on the store page, and the piece you're confused about seems to be this little hatch on the puppet's chest;

as for the smell, usually smells should go away with time in a well-ventilated room.
i'm no expert on that though, so hopefully someone else will be able to reply with more certainty!
