Searching to speak to sculptorSearching to speak to sculptor

Has anyone ever tried to find a sculptor online?

So there is this one figurine that I really wanted that was unfortunately cancelled and I wanted to get more information on it. Most likely it was cancelled due to the company going bankrupt but as of yet we have no confirmation of this. Though I have to say that the writing is on the wall.

So the sculptor‘s name is Relord Hounjou at least that is what it says in your DB. It seems that he has only done a single figurine being the one I am trying to get info on. Now I am not all that savvy when it comes to searching for these kinds of things but if you need someone to set up your printer I am your guy.

If anyone could help that would be great. I have no Instagram but I did try searching on FB in case he would have a page there. Of course he could be under a different name as well. I was thinking of all the art sites that exist that he could be under as well as other types of social media.

I almost feel like am trying to stalk this person just so I can hopefully send him a message and that he responds back to me. I hope google translate will be my friend if ever I get their contact information so we can communicate easily.

Pic is NSFW so open at own risk.

I would love to know if anyone has any type of information as well on Embrace Japan and what is happening to them. That is if anyone has any type of info on them.

Have you ever tried to get in touch with a sculptor?

What is your story about this and how did you manage to contact them.

I look forward to your stories below.

I always try to contact sculptors before I buy garage kits of their original characters as well as tag them in when I build one of their kits on twitter ^^ a little different to what you're asking but they're not scary :3
My tip is use Google translate as it's half decent and gets the point across. Use simple words in the translator though.
Otherwise, using simple English works most of the time too!

I don't know if this will help, but I found the website of a sculpter named OZ that works (or used to work) for Embrace Japan. They might be able help you contact the other sculptor or be able to shed some light on what has happened to the company:

otakumode.com/O...

If you do learn anything, please post with the details so we know what's happened to the company and why that figure was cancelled. I think there are several of us there were interested in it.
