what are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for the fact that, for now at least, I can take life at my own pace. Back in high school, I was pushing myself WAY too hard to try to figure out exactly what I wanted to do in life and pushed myself to mental, physical, and emotional fraying to achieve what I thought I wanted despite being in pretty bad health at the time. Now, I'm planning on taking a year off between community college and university to get comfortable with where I am and where I'm going without having so much stress on me. Life's gotten better over the past two years, for sure.

Also super thankful that Hidamari Sketch got a BD re-release, jfc those individual volumes are spendy.

I'm thankful for my family, my friends, my job, cherry pie, and the series that have meant so much to me over the years :)

I'm thankful for a lot of things, but I want to do a shout out to my new co-workers. I started basically my dream job at a pop culture store, where some people can be not so nice (but alas, that's retail in a nutshell), but my co-workers are just lovely. At the end of the day yesterday they mentioned how I was absolutely killing it on the floor and am doing an amazing job, with one other co-worker later mentioning in the work group chat that they can't wait to work with me! It's just so great to come in to a workplace and feel instantly at home.

I'm thankful for lots of things: coffee, anime, fansubbers, translators, food, orange juice, coffee, anime conventions, those people at artist alley, tea, and people who collaborate together to make vocaloid music and art.

I'm thankful for this site; this website has is a treasure trove of information, a huge and easy to navigate database for figures, a great way to keep track of figures, and discover new figures. Plus, this community is pretty nice ⁠— y'all are informative, smart, creative, funny, and mostly nice af.

I'm thankful for everything. There are times when I feel regret or that I'd wish for something. I think this is normal. When I think back though, I'm always glad things turned out the way they did or I wouldn't be the person standing here today. Thanks!!! I hope you all have a Thanks Happygiving!!!!

I am actually really thankful to have some time off work, it is wonderful to just think to myself- no thinking about work- it is break time!

Today I talked with my sister on the phone a couple of times ( she is chatty person and loves to call me when I am at work bc she can’t ever remember the time zone difference). So she was pretty happy (if she is happy I am happy), considering we are spending the holiday apart. I also talked with my mom.

I started building an EVA 02 model kit also ( had a minor mishap with a small plastic piece which somehow got in my eye, but I reacted fast enough and got it out- so glad that was fine). Tomorrow I will hopefully finish up, as well as finish the stream vod which I was half watching in accompaniment. Also thankful to some online folks for being such relaxing and fun people to watch or listen to.

And I am thankful to this community, its great to share a hobby with others. Especially glad with all the recent posts about advice for figure photos. I think once I am done with the kit, I will take the 02 and some Asuka figures to the park and try to take a couple of pictures.

Anyhow, enough rambling from me! Thanks Gala for always posting nice community articles, and I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of the day/night!

i'm thankful for my amazing mom who i love more than anyone else in the world, my best friend and all of my friends who are always there for me, my bunny, my job and my super kind and understanding manager and coworkers, my favorite characters and series that have gotten me through so many tough times and always cheer me up, and this community <3
this year has been really kind to me, and i'm really looking forward to the next!!

I'm thankful for a lot of things, but I think one thing I'm really thankful for this year is my progress to a healthier mindset. And that the most stressful days of the year (black thursday/friday) are almost over! Be extra nice to your retail friends/family, lol.
