Hi MFC, it's been 4 months since last Nendo review. We do need a comeback with an epic character.
Therefore, I brought in Zenitsu. To be honest, I didn't complete watching/reading the story. I just pick some stunning fight scenes so it is likely you know more about the characters than me.
Won't show all the parts out of the box cuz I don't want to see limbs/ hands/ head off his body.
Gonna do some posing with all parts and accessories featured.
-Overview-
This is such a wonderful character design with exceptional colour scheme. Outstanding and likeable. In SD scale, he is even more adorable.
The Pom-Pom hairstyle is his signature which is really well sculpted. highlights at hair ends is awesome.
Zenitsu is really unique as he is a coward who steals the show. His personality almost opposes to the stereotyped ACG heroes. However, that didn't stop him from winning popularity polls.
Chuntarou, his sparrow friend, almost as popular as Zenitsu?
The legs are hiden, Chuntarou got a film on the bottom instead. He can sit on Zenitsu's head by clipping the film into the gap between the hair parts.
Most of the time he is a fun character but he could release his full potential when he sleeps (falling unconscious). he could then change dramatically in fights with his Iaijutsu.
Thunder Breathing 1st Form. This is the best I can band on his Nendo body.
The same pic reproportioned. It looks more faithful to the anime as he lunges to concentrate energy on his legs for insanely fast dashes.
-Rating-
Sculpting 9 Good finishing overall, but have annoying mold lines on the coat.
Painting 9 Love how his hair is painted. However shading is lacking which makes his bang looks like French fries.
Posing 9 He comes with alternative lunging legs and many arm parts (3 right / 2 left) with made posing quite flexible. This is such a deluxe set with 4 face plates and even the lightning effect. So it's hard to complain. But he can't hold the scabbard firmly which is a little nick picking.
Base 7
Packaging 8
Enjoyment 10 Great value with that many parts and accessories. One of the best Nendos to get in 2020.

My unit has the same problem but not obvious at all.
Is your really obvious on your eyes?? If yes then contact GSC. ohh lol. ohhh yeah mine's kinda obvious hahaha. i've been meaning to send them the details i've just been lazy xD thank you for replying
