For me these:

1. Gun Gale Online - forgot completely about this. I couldnt handle people getting murdered for some reason and then spazzing out on screen

2. Evangelion - ik im making a mistake havent ever gotten into anime with robots

2.2 Macross Frontier - ik im making a big mistake

2.8 I didnt watch geass for a while because it didnt look interesting big whoops almost finished now

3. Queens blade series - oddly enough I got too bored of the plot. I tried so many times to watch the next season but havent been able to get over that block. I guess the only character i got attached to were some of the bad girls

4. Darling in the franxx -- oh dear ik this is what everyone wants a 2nd season of but shoot i picked this up because i wanted to learn about 02. Shes awesome but i wasnt too enthused with plot

5. Other things I paused mostly because I seem to put things off and slowly watch over time. May take over a month to watch a full season sometimes. I think what happens is I get so overwhelmed by having so many choices I watch nothing and just casually browse on the internet.. sigh why am I so picky

But pls dont be offended, I appreciate anime a ton its just my mental state makes it hard for me to focus in. I did watch all of one piece in about 4 months i think

Evangelion is severely overrated. I watched it and honestly the pacing is just awful, it's all over the place. A lot of people like to say that it's "deep" but it really feels more like Anno just wanted to cram in as much symbolism as possible while not thinking about how exactly the story itself should play out.

Personally I don't think you're missing out on much.

dtindcarea11 days ago#95942814One piece. I liked it and even bought some figures of characters from it but the number of episodes is so overwhelming/daunting that I quit watching. I wanted to watch other stuff / variety so One Piece was put on the backburner many years ago and I never got back to it.

I've been watching it for months and I'm not even half way through it yet lol

Started this one and liked it but got really detached from it the more it went on. Was forcing myself to get through season 3 and totally lost interest, kind of thought it went very downhill. I want to finish it just because I hate leaving shows unfinished but idk if I even like the show anymore.
Monogatari
-This one is popular but it's definitely not my show. I hate the weird and spontaneous cinematography of it and long rambling of unimportant and irrelevant conversations they have about random stuff in every episode. Also the confusing explanations, weird stuff and awkward scenes, especially the ones including naked girls. I like some of the figures for it but I don't know if I can force myself to finish this show.
interesting the monogatari series is one i always had curiosity about,

But i tried it and it was too bloody for first 5 minutes so i dropped immediately, with 7 deadly sins it was lol ike the 2nd anime i ever got into and i loved it but i wasnt impressed by ending so i stopped at season 1. Sigh same with the slime one it was good enough to finish but its more of one i pick up when i have lots of free time..

Mm u have a very nice collection! Esp the geass wedding figure of c2. My goodness o.o. those fate medusa figures r very nice holy heckins im waiting for rider 2.0 figma to come out

Madoka Magica - never caught my attention enough to stick through, even with the early episodes shocker. From what I hear of the "true" plot, I can't figure out how they keep pumping out sequels.

The Great Pretender - thought it would be good from what I heard, but kind of boring with the new kid constantly quitting but still doing the con artist thing. Then I heard about the ending and interest disappeared.

Ninja Slayer - I get the idea behind the style choice, but couldn't finish it.

Naruto - the long multi-episode fights wore me down. The last time I suffered through that was with Kenshin. I was done with this type of show. I guess I grew out of it. I finished Demon Slayer because of the super hype, but it was a slog for a similar reason. I never found episode 19 that emotional either.

Probably something else I can't remember right now.

Demon Slayer - I got to the supposedly emotional moment at the end of episode 19 or something, and I felt like I didn't need to continue. I revisited it over a year later to finish it, and was able to appreciate the great production a lot more since I wasn't hung up on how disappointing the story was.

Oregairu - The only show I've dropped twice. Got halfway through the second season. Usually I love school and harem shows, but this didn't do it for me. The first season was alright since it had a more interesting artstyle and it didn't have Iroha.

Totally agree with you on evangelion, the art is gorgeous! I love the whole aesthetic of it! I think I might try it again though I might not get far OTL

tybalitus11 days ago#95942827First one I dropped was Lucky Star, I tried watching it back when it was super popular and I just kinda found it boring, despite really wanting to like it. I got into Free! when it first came out and dropped it after the first season, that one I actually enjoyed but just lost interest while waiting for the second season, I'm not big on sports so not too surprising.
Also Evangelion for me, which I feel bad about almost because it's such a classic, but no joke I've started watching it 5 separate times over the past 7 years... can't do it, I'm just not interested at all. I thought I would try again once all movies came out, now they did, and I can't get myself to watch them anyway smh.
