Comments Collecting and being thankful

Definitely think it's good to take a step back and appreciate what you have for anything, but especially for a hobby that's solely materialistic. Thoroughly agree on this hobby getting overwhelming sometimes and that it's easy to become lost in fomo or keeping up with new releases all the time.

I've been trying to appreciate what I have a lot more over the past year, figure-wise and everything else. I've had so many times where I'll just sit in front of my cabinets and appreciate what I've been able to buy, enough that my sister will question what the hell I'm doing lol. I always tell her, "What's the point of buying all this stuff if you don't even take time and appreciate it?".

This is a nice positive article, with a good point.
Appreciating and enjoying what you already have I believe is one of the cornerstones of a good life. As much as the drive and desire for new and exiting things is important to keep us going and avoid stagnating. If we don't have a good foundation to stand on and fall back to for rest and contemplation then we aren't really in a position to ever truly enjoy our life.
So I hope everyone is enjoying their collection, big or small :)

Great article. Memories, enjoying what you already have in your collection; agree with all of it.

Working from home also and used to have all my figures in another room but since we made progress on the last bit of decorating I now have display's in my work room

So I can just turn round to see some of my collection, so I understand what you mean by appreciating what you have, so much is in boxes is hard to get enjoyment out of them that way.
Now I have them where I can easily see them then it's so much better.

What a heartwarming read. You always keep it real with your articles. True, the many stresses of collecting are more than capable of adding up and overwhelming us, but at the end of the day, we're all here to celebrate and support our favourite pieces of media and the memories they hold for us. That's something we should always keep in mind.
