We are in summer and seems that japan post is not restarting air mail
I have many order on solaris japan and they are still blocked
What do you think about this situation?
Why also in summer shipment are stopped?
Does anyone who know something about japan politics or have parents in japan know if something is about to change?

If the demand for cargo space greatly exceeds the number of commercial flights to an area, than that region will have Japan Post mail suspended as it would be impossible to keep up with the demand (& otherwise a back-up of mail going nowhere will just keep building & building). What caused this (COVID, war in Ukraine, the Apocalypse) doesn't matter, all that matters is if the cargo space is available for mail.
That's why random County X has options from Japan Post... because they're getting enough flights from Japan to Country X to keep up with the mail demand. It could be because Country X is getting more flights, it could be because there just isn't that much demand for mail from Japan in Country X.
If you want a better idea how close your country is to getting Japan Post options back, just look at the number of flights currently available from Japan to your country and compare that to the number of flights that were available in the past.
If your country does not have those easily available then those options will be blocked
That might depend on the regulations of the country
So it may be that some are happy for any goods to be shipped where others might want to concentrate on specific goods, like food, electrical equipment, medicines.
In which case it's easy for two neighbouring countries to be treated differently.
So if Germany has restrictions and Poland does not then you will get a difference, not because of Japan post but because of import restrictions.
The other possibility is that the local postal services want to charge more for the imports and Japan Post don't want to pay the extra, maybe the local post services won't take the parcels
There is a whole host of possible reasons, just the general public don't get told.
same we've been suffering here not having any cheap options available...I hate using DHL given the choice because not only is it expensive as hell but then we always get hit with customs fees no matter what if its value is over 20$..super annoying and frustrating >_< hope we finally get cheaper options back this summer
it's your opinion or u have evidence? if so, can u explain why ems is back to ukraine but not for germany?
thanks
b) Different countries have different regulations around getting things shipped in and out. It's not easy to adapt to all these different rules, especially when they're also constantly changing. Some routes you simply can't get planes or ships on at all, some countries you'd have to go through so much red tape that it's not worth it, some places you'd be backed up waiting anyways so it's not worth sending out.
c) Companies will offer whatever shipping options are reasonably available to them. Some don't want to deal with the hassle of third party couriers because they're too much trouble. The fact that they're willing to hold orders at their own expense rather than just cancelling them outright is actually a good thing.
a) sry my bad, im not talking about high end leaks, just some news who anyone who works in the area knows, probably none cares much about this
b)sure thing, i'm just asking for more info, i repeat maybe not for our dolls but in general, i see a lof of indifference from japan poeple in this case
c)i think offer only ems is too restrictive, there are many shipping methods and 95 shops on 100 give us the opportunity to CHOOSE, I'm fine if they force us to pay a lot more, im pissed off with the remain 5% who dont offer anything (like native store for example)
