Still deciding on the best Mistral figure. Not a fan of the Yamato version so it is all down to the Alter or the Kotobukiya.

Thank you for putting these 2 beauties side by side. Even though Alter's colors are brighter and the pose is more dynamic, I just cannot resist the pose used by Yamato with her version of Mistral. Granted, the faces are way different, but she still is fairly faithful to the art she is based on.

I don't like Yamato's version. Her pose is very stiff and isn't natural. Also her face lacks any emotion. I don't know what they were trying to convey. Alter clearly has the best sculpt, paint job, pose, expression.

Looking at her face, Alter's version is way cuter. Otherwise, I really like the looks of Yamato's back, legs, and butt shot. They feel.. "softer".

I find the Alter one vastly superior due to the fact that Alter's Misty actually looks like a T2 girl. Great shots as well. You can really see the quality of this rendition of Misty. I really like the angle of the first shot. At first I felt Misty was hard to photograph, but you certainly proved that wrong.

The back view of the Yamato one looks more appealing to me.
