Comments Figure appearance not reaching expectations?

  • I would like even one figure of Tsubaki from Blazblue. :/

I was pretty let down with the Kurumi Tokisaki figures. There's probably more but she stands out the most at the moment.

Takasugi6 years ago#2097813Killua from Hunter x Hunter. All of his figures look terrible..:x

Noted this as well. I went to check my list after reading this post and found Killua being a good example: They just can't put his face right. ITEM #151206 This is the closest Killua with a spotted on face imo. But still.

A lot of series I love and would like to get figures from are so old they only have out of character and especially not good looking faces... TT^TT So I sort of accepted that a lot of my favorite characters will not get a perfect appereance figure. :'(

Edward Elric? lol I really don't know. Most of the figures in my wishlist are there because I'm ok with how they look or I like them enough to wish to own them. And since I'm already a little picky, I already do a previous selection from all the figures of the character out there.

So either everything has already been deemed as "ok, I like you enough to wish you" or from what little that there is available from a certain character, the figures are kinda off some nardo figures from certain dudes I like. Like with Edward, but I guess that depends of the previous anime Edward or the manga Edward.

Not so much appearance in the figure design itself being a problem as often as clothing or pose. Sometimes, especially when it's a character that didn't reach enough critical mass level for multiple scale releases you're left with either none, a highly inaccurate prize or a beach queen - this one being a good example:
    ITEM #112251
Each to their own but I for the most part prefer standard versions with clothing and appearance following the source material. In many cases, it's a big part of what I wanted in a figure of the character in the first place.

Here is the one I own of Keade ITEM #1635. I think its the best one out there for the money. The fact that there are hair options, beret ribbon make it a fun figurine. I am selling off most of the the Shuffle! characters if you are interested in Keade. Premula will be staying with me though.

Pm me if you would like any Shuffle characters.

A lot of people probably disagree with me but I think Ryougi Shiki hasn't had an accurate figure of her yet. The GSC Shiki is great but the face expression doesn't fit her for some reason. The new Koto Shiki looks great as well, but there is something "different" about her face. It doesn't seem to match the original art style. Also my biggest gripe is that all of these Shiki figures use the white kimono instead of her regular outfit. To this day her red jacket/blue kimono is one of my favorite designs and Shiki hasn't had a really good figure in that outfit.

Taiga Aisaka for me. She has a lot of scales, but the only one I actually like is ITEM #31615, because of the face. With all the others, either the face is off and/or I dislike the pose.
