An oldie but a goodie! I really love this line of scales; so timeless imo.

LittlePisces (1 month ago) #75580651As someone mentioned before, I can't believe that anime is almost a decade old! Time sure flies by. I've always wanted to try taiyaki. I am assuming they sell them in Asian stores right? Looks like I have a request for my Filipino mom when she goes out Asian food shopping someday. :)
That's what I love about anime are the powerful female characters!

Ugh, right? I saw a thread recently where the OP was asking for suggestions for popular anime to watch, and one commenter mentioned PMMM. My initial reaction was "Pffft, who hasn't seen that? It's so popular and recent!" and then I googled when it came out...what is life.
Also yes, taiyaki is great! Try some!

Thanks for the great review! I've had my eye on this figure for awhile now (I only discovered this one existed last August, but the con that had it had her for way too much money. I've been wanting her for my collection since, though), but haven't bought her yet. I will definitely be picking her up at some point now, though.
I didn't realize this figure was this old, though. She looks like most newer figures do, honestly, and is just as good (if not better) than the one from last year.

Nice review again, I only recently saw PMMM (more than fashionably late to the party) but I really liked Kyoko, this figure looks to be really great quality especially for the age. Like the pics of Mami and Kyoko I feel they fit great since both have the one leg raised and kind of like they are gazing toward each other!

Solarstormflare (1 month ago) #75565645OO nice! I used to have her too and never even though about having one hand on the spear and the other with the food, that's so smart! I still love her a lot and the only reason I sold her was because the way her leg bends forward past the knee seemed a bit off to me and I couldn't get past it, but maybe i'll pick her up again sometime!

I think the leg does look a little odd, but when I think about it as if she's skidding to a stop and changing direction, I think the leg kind of works. The spear is very long though and takes up a lot of space.

victorviper (1 month ago) #75565655Hmm, I've seen this figure a thousand times but somehow I never noticed before now that she's holding that piece of taiyaki.
It's also hard to believe that the Madoka franchise is getting close to a decade old!

I can't believe that Madoka is a decade old! It's crazy. The taiyaki is a nice character touch.
