My first Nendoroid was ITEM #166946, Link from "The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker"!!! A local comic shop just happened to carry him, and I thought he was so cute. :)

My first Nendoroid (and first ever figure) was a bootleg of ITEM #25067 I got for my twelfth birthday. Didn't realize for a few weeks afterwards that she was a bootleg, but I was pretty gutted when I found out I had gotten ripped off (I paid close to $50 for it). I don't have that specific figure anymore, but I did end up re-buying a legitimate version of her.

My first legitimate Nendoroid was ITEM #41459. I begged my parents to take me to an anime store that was nearby and they let me get her along with a blind-boxed Madoka Magica Nendoroid Petit. Sadly, she was a casualty of 'being a young teenager that doesn't know how to take care of figures' and moving house, and she ended up in pretty rough condition and eventually lost during that move. She's another one I ended up re-buying, she's so cute despite some of her design flaws.

The original Neptune Nendoroid was my first, she was ludicrously expensive at the time due to being a limited run and I went through Amazon, so I didn't get a very good deal. It was a few years before the recent reissue of the figure with the extra faceplate, which goes for almost 1/3 of what I paid.

I have almost completely stopped buying figures, but I did order 2B from NieR Automata a while back when preorders opened. I just don't watch much anime or play many games anymore. I spend way more time on collecting music and commissioning art.

I didn't even know about Nendoroids until I saw this thing. I'm a huge RWBY fan and as soon as I saw the little face with small sausage fingers and tiny boots that can barely hold up her fat head I instantly preordered her.

I wanted my first Nendoroid to be Len Kagamine ITEM #1009, but it ended up being Sonic the Hedgehog ITEM #78604. I've lost both of them since, but I'm going to buy them again, so everything will be peachy again real soon. ^__^
