Demigod_Dan11 days ago#101269668At this point basically whenever an item @Suru is in stock longer than a day, it's either undesirable or too high priced, lol. I honestly hope this info doesn't become even more widespread, because that issue will become even worse if it does. It will also put proxies out of business due to the time they take to order your order vs directly being able to order.
I don't understand why people who love to collect things just freely give away info which'll make it harder to collect said things (more competition >>> a convenient purchase method). Remember this when an in stock item gets sold out right when you put it into your cart or while waiting for proxy to order it in the future. View spoilerHide spoiler My thoughts on BiJ / people constantly sharing which sites to buy from: "Man, guess there's really no escaping the Western consoomer culture as it seeps into JP territory >_<"
P.S. Thanks to the surge in purchases for the last 2 years partially contributed by info like this, Suru has begun raising their prices on '1 in stock items', sometimes even eclipsing the 'going price' on other 2nd hand product sites.

Exactly this. I tend to avoid mentioning how and where to buy. I only mention the shop in the loot cause it feels weird not doing so but that's after I got the goods I want anyways haha.

Nefere12 days ago#101228216Do you know if they offer surface mail if asked? AFAIK they offered it when other Japan Post shopping methods were suspended to send to the destination country.
It's the only thing that keeps me using Tenso (the other forwarder).
I've never used surface from BIJ before, but according to their shipping updates page (www.biginjap.co...) (see the note at the very bottom), you can ask them for a surface quote. But you may want to email them in advance just to be 100% sure they're still offering it.

Kuromii12 days ago#101245273If you pick the repackaging option and ask BiJ to remove Suru's invoice from the box, they should do. They also value the package at whatever you specify.
    Thank you very much! https://static.myfigurecollection.net/upload/pictures/2020/11/06/2556188.gif

Feuerkopf12 days ago#101228143As a german citizen and a fellow JP Shopping Service friend, I wanted to ask if you can change the invoice with BiJ or Blackship? I was searching for a way to buy from Suru, but not having to pay 300¥ for every single item in my package. Buyee is currently my go to option for Suruga-ya Shopping, but I can't change my invoice (only declare as gift) and wanted to completely ditch them for some time now.

noctisity12 days ago#101227926They still let you use DHL to the US if you ask them. For my past few forwarding tickets, I've requested they give me a quote for EMS and DHL so I could compare prices. (DHL ended up being cheaper each time.)Do you know if they offer surface mail if asked? Lina12 days ago#101227303BiJ did offer DHL to the US, but once EMS became available again, they took away that option. It sucks because DHL has been cheaper for most of my orders from any shop I've used since EMS came back.
