The King Tut just released so zero chance of that. More than likely it’ll be an odd combination of TinyTAM and Demon Slayer.

I am honesty looking at their in-stock items and I would totally be happy if I get the King Tut Figma. I would never buy it at retail but it would be fun to have. I am really tempted. I totally did not need to see your article...:D

from my understanding, Japan has a history of these loot boxes/bags and it's supposed to give businesses good karma for the year by giving the buyer good items for a good price while the business/seller get better karma the better the deal is.
i'm sure there's a term for it but that's how i explain it to people.
in America, it's a glorified gacha game with clarence items that couldn't sell with the chance of getting that UR Hatsune Miku

No. The ones last year were generally considered bad. This year the odds of getting something good are higher since there’s more stuff in stock. The question then becomes: would you rather pay $50 for three Nendoroids you have a very low chance of enjoying or $50 for a Nendoroid you know you will enjoy?

The box was 35K yen and had 5 or 6 scales in it. No tiny fillers, prize figures or garbage either. They were all the more popular characters of that year.
Rent a girl friend, B2, To love Ru, sword art on-line...etc.
Easily worth twice as much and all good figures in case you wanted to sell the ones you didn't like.
Here is the youtube unboxing video, amiami 2022 box starts at the 19:30 time stamp so it's only 7 minutes long

Oh wow, that was so good it almost makes me wonder if this was fake, or sponsored by Amiami lmao. I would be very happy with that selection! Thanks for the video!

I am interested but it seems like it is not worth it? It sounds similar to lucky bags and they are super popular in Japan.

It might have been arranged since they had to reserve the box months in advance. Not sponsored though, that channel is very clear about their sponsors... though amiami and other figure shops probably made a bundle out of their figure spree videos lol!

I'm not getting any. I've been burned by these things before, plus I'm low on display and storage space as it is and don't want to try to find a spot for some random nendos that I might not even want.
What were people getting in the amiami one?
