Thanks for the info I cant get them shipped to Canada as there is no selection for Canada in the shipping section .

Great price. Now I have to hunt for someone to get hem in the us for me and then ship them to me. Thanks for letting me know though this is great news.

    @ WanderingWastrel

So space is now your issue with figurines. As per other hobbies your point is en lighting. I never really collected anything seriously before so this felt a little strange.

WanderingWastrel (7 months ago) #30989102First, let me say that the DIODER LED lights are still available via the US website via mail order. I don't know if you can order from the US site from up there in Canada, but hopefully that will help you track them down. I know they're actually shipping them, because I had to buy three sets of them myself last week, because they sure didn't have them in my closest Ikea store.

But I am also going through a similar withdrawal from figures. In my case it's directly related to having moved. I was in a two-bedroom apartment, with every inch available for hobby related stuff. Now I'm in a single room, which is also my bedroom, and space just isn't there. (I'm sure many of the younger members here can empathize with lack of space.) So once I get my bookshelves up I'm going to have to sort out which figures stay and which ones go. Getting new ones is now a bad idea, both space-wise and money-wise, so I think I'm done with figures.

So I'm just going to stick with the far cheaper anime collectibles, such as clear files, and an artbook for the shows I really like.

Fortunately, I've been through this sort of thing with other hobbies, such as stamp collecting. Over time, your interest in a hobby decreases, just because we're human and we get bored with things. Totally natural. Sometimes we pick the hobby back up again in the future; sometimes we don't. Such is life.
