Trading all owned figurines for your wish listComments • Trading all owned figurines for your wish list

Nope I have to many reasons for not exchanging, 1. I keep my wishlist small, 2. I like more affordable stuff anyways, 3. I like the hunt too much and then the most important reason is a lot of them are souvenirs from times with my family or gifts from my family.

At this point, it will be a big NO.
I'm a few away of owning 500, without counting duplicates.
Besides it would kill the thrill of hunting for those grails.

I don't think I would, I love everything in my collection atm and I just deleted a whole bunch off my WL sooo it would be kinda silly to lol. If we're talking about figures that are on let's say my Sideshow wishlist and not on MFC, then yeah I 100% would lmao

    To be honest,

I don't think that I would have done this just because I have a lot of figures that I own already and a few that are pre-ordered. There's still only a few ones that I want for now from my wishlist ( will definitely change in the future with more releases) so that's a no from me.

Figurewise my wishlist is bigger than my owned list and it got more valuable items.
That said I won’t trade my collection for my wishlist. The road towards the goal is sometimes more important than the goal itself. I am proud of my collection and I have worked a lot of additional hours to afford them.

My collection is pretty small and my wishlist consists of grails with damn high aftermarket prices (= the reason I haven't already got them) and two very expensive statues... so moneywise such a trade would make sense.
But I couldn't do it. My collection is as small as it is because of money haha, but also because I only go for figures I absolutely love. Besides, I already own my most beloved figure. Wouldn't trade him for any figure out there. And as some already pointed out, the stories of how you got your little roommates can boost their subjective value immeasurably.

Nice question by the way! Thinking about an answer made me appreciate my collection even more (ˆ◡ˆ)

I only have one nendoroid on my wish list, so that's a definite no for me. :P

I have pretty much all the figures I want, though, and some of my current owned are big favorites. I wouldn't exchange them even if my wishlist were bigger.

You know, I don't think I would've done this even when I first started collecting. I started with figures that I'm still really fond of, and I never did that thing where I had a wishlist with like 100 things on it. I added things as I watched stuff and sometimes took things off, but I had a slow growth rate for a while and it was nice.

It's be a no for me. Mainly because I collect dolls (Azone and Dollfie Dream) and considering the luck I had obtaining some of the dolls I did at reasonable prices, I couldn't give them up for the remaining ones on my want list. Also, I only want dolls that are currently very available so it's just be a bad deal in the first place. XD

I absolutely would not take that offer. I keep my wishlist small and manageable, and most things I'd really like to own I already or can afford in the near future. There's only three items on my list that would be very expensive to buy or difficult to get hold of, but they definitely wouldn't be worth my entire collection :L
