    rogue_g (1 month ago) #75628730Really neat idea to showcase your figure! Overall the look comes together, but if there's one thing I would suggest is some kind of transparent blue layer on the top of the display. The spotlight LED is very obviously NOT part of the diorama, but hiding that behind.. some kind of thin sheer fabric like ocean waves? Or semi-transparent plexiglass to spread the light out and mask the LED light source would give it that extra attention to detail.
    Either way, great job so far!

    Ooo that sounds like a good idea! I'll look into it. I can also remove the spotlight LED on the top too. I just had it on to try and give more lighting for pictures. But I also like the extra lighting it provides. Hmm. Maybe I can cover it up with the same blue ribbon for the wave.

    I like the floaty oceanic feel of those tulle ribbons and the color is a nice match for Miku's hair.
    The ambient blue light with a central white projector should nicely highlight the figure.
    This gives me ideas... I wonder if there's any way to distort the projector light to make it look like the sea floor. Through an acrylic prism maybe...
    Also if you need more decorations, you could look into fish tank accessories (fake corals, etc.)

    Ooohh I bet if I wanted to make an effect on the lighting I could cover the spotlight with some sheer fabric or something! Good idea.

    Milady-Alluca (1 month ago) #75627491The shelf looks lovely, it must be so fun to have sought out items for its decoration for a figure you're so looking forward to getting c:
    Is the light always going to be blue or can it switch to white light as well if you wanted to?
    Sorry if I'm misunderstanding the light situation, sometimes my comprehension is a little suspect ;v;

    I can change the light to any color I want :) I can even make it strobe all the colors!
