Comments Boxes, Boxes EVERYWHERE

  • It sounds like you are going to keep them and organize them in the shipping boxes. I do that as well. When I decided to pack some that I had on display, it was relatively easy to locate their figure boxes since I had marked every box with a list of what it contained. Anyway, if you put them in shipping boxes make sure you have marked on each shipping box what it contains because that will save you a lot of time if you ever want to find a particular box.

Lmfao I have this exact same problem. I used to have a closet, an actual closet, but I had to move out all my clothes onto a clothing rack just so I could use the closet to store my boxes. But then I got the Victor/Yuuri premium box set, and now... well, safe to say my closet is no longer able to accommodate any more boxes lmao. I flattened at least the prize figure boxes, but still. So I feel you.

I might have to start storing them behind my bookshelf at this point, unfortunately. That's just the way it is. I don't want to throw out any boxes because I might need them for moving ToT

I have a spare bedroom I keep them in. It has a walk-in closet and the back of that closet is literally all boxes LOL. I take Staples paper boxes home from work when they're empty and collapse anything without a clam shell interior into that. Toss the insides because random plastic and cardboard no one cares about.

With prize figures I usually just flatten the boxes. With scales and nendos I keep everything and put them in storage containers then place them in my garage. This is because if I need to sell any of my figures to maintain the value of that figure I would need to keep the box.

I mostly collect Nendoroids these days. If I KNOW I'm gonna keep the figure due to a lasting interest in the character I throw the box away. If I think I might sell in the future I keep it and I also keep ALL scale figure boxes. I tend to keep prize figure boxes too cause I'm more likely to sell those eventually.

I keep them in shipping boxes and put them in my attic. I don't really have anything else up there except my figure boxes, because that's all I really buy...

In my case, I have to keep the boxes out of necessity just to maintain the value of the item in the event I sell something, which I have ended up doing many times.

But tall the storage space they require has been a pain. I am trying an experiment turning my figure boxes into display stands for my figures by putting table cloths and glass sheets on top of them. Same with my Nendoroid boxes making them into a tiered riser system.

I have several huge boxes that are filled with smaller boxes from figures. I keep them under beds and in an old closet on the balcony because I can't get myself to throw them out lol

I get rid of the cheap boxes but keep the Scale and expensive figures boxes. However, it still hurts getting rid of the cheap ones but that's what I have to do especially when I still live with my parents. Perhaps in the future I'll be able to have my own place and keep ALL the boxes :D

I keep all my figure boxes in their brown shipping boxes, and then it's playing manual Tetris with the stacks XD I can't bear to throw them away because I see them as part of the figure package - and if I ever decide to sell them, I would want them to be protected well (the presence of a proper figure box also helps the selling value).
