Comments Have you been lucky for figure quality?

  • All of my figures that I buy new have come in great condition. The used ones, I've had 1 major mishap but that's all. I also pre-ordered that Gojo figure so I hope it comes in good condition.

Also good condition varies for people. Some people consider a tiny scratch on the box or a tiny paint mishap to be "damaged". I'm pretty lenient on things as long as it's not noticeable or broken it's fine for me!

I had five really bad ones and one downright hilarious atrocity (a prize figure from the 90s, it's about what I expected), but for the most part I've had pretty good luck with figure quality. Little dings and marks here and there, but never anything outright terrible.

I've got a lucky draw with ITEM #658026. No broken tail, no broken reflector, no leaning etc. I ordered her few months after release, knowing about all problems with the figure.

She still has some minor defects, like uneven black lines, few scratches and gaps between paws and claws, but I'm really happy with the figure.

Ah the highs and lows of collecting Jojo nendoroids. :') I was usually lucky while others had more glaring QC issues, but the latest nendo, my Ceasar Zeppeli's paint job ITEM #951106 was WHACK in some areas. Had to fix him up myself.

lmao we have the same figures ordered/pre-ordered
sadly i received my merlin with paint defects and i'm still waiting on TOM's response for them to try and procure a replacement. if not.... i might have to try and sell it and cut my losses.

I've also pre ordered gojo and god help me if something is wrong with his figure too...

I've had great luck so far. I've only had bad luck recently with this boy: ITEM #401019
The quality of the paint was poor in some areas, and oddly he had scratches on his butt and crotch... which are terrible places for a figure to be damaged >~>

I honestly think the Gojo will be fine, their other figures are really really articulated (Rem, Ram, Emilia...etc.) and those tiny thing sinewy pieces from their bases are really fragile and thin anyways. Gojo seems solid enough!

Looking at the recent releases from Shibuya Scramble, I'm worried about ITEM #1071543. They have an history of broken figures with Re:Zero or faded colors and color shading not coming out as good as the prototypes for other figures...
