I'm still waiting. In 10 days it will be a full 2 months and then I will be filing an inquiry with Japan Post. I know Canada Post has the blessing of the government to treat packages with cheap mail rates with sub-standard service, but this is Airmail with more expensive rates.Marshmallowpie (9 days ago) #37060337Is that how it is now? Normally it's always taken seven days, but I'm waiting two weeks now. Five weeks is basically the same as SAL - and I remember when SAL used to take two weeks. I hope your waiting ends soon, if it hasn't already, and mine too.

Criscokid (25 days ago) #36184131Since when should it take 5 weeks and counting to receive Air-Mail?

Criscokid (6 months ago) #30306200Everyone is having the same problem. Canada Post stopped the timestamp recording in early September. The only tracking results you can get through Canada Post these days is EMS and SAL Parcel.

Thanks for the response. Politely put, this sucks.

So has anyone's tracking number, for airmail or RSAL, been working for them recently?
It used to be that by inputting more than one number into the Tracking box, the system would tell you "Tracking is not provided for international parcels" but still give you a timestamp of the most recent activity, thus giving you some idea where your package might be and when it might be delivered. Trackitonline could pull the status from CP's database for you and tell you what you needed to know.
I had two packages using signature-required airmail ship out Dec 1 and CP's tracking simply says "We could not find this item in our database." No timestamps. Trackitonline gives nothing. JP Post tracking stops when the packages leave the country, so it's useless. I've gone from having some idea of where my stuff is, to NO idea where my stuff is.
I'd really like to know if anyone is having the same problem. Or of it's just a bad case of holiday parcel season.

I had a package from Bigbadtoystore show up 2 weeks later than a second package from them that shipped on the exact same day lol.

Canada Post is charging more for shittier service. Honestly, things started out GREAT when we got the mail boxes set up. Big boxes went to my door, small boxes were put in the larger slot in the box. Now they aren't even knocking. They just leave a slip and go half of the time.

I'm also waiting on 3 packages from CDJapan, and another box from HLJ with a nendo in it, and honestly... I'm expecting them after New Years at this rate.

That just sucks! Overpaid employees, who make their own hours and can't be bothered to do the simple job of delivery. I'm having a problem in just getting my items. I have an AmiAmi RSAL package from 4 months ago that has yet to be delivered.(Filed a request for investigation 2 months ago). Another shipment from California that usually takes a week to arrive. Cleared customs Nov 13 and yet has not made it from Vancouver to Calgary in 3 weeks and counting. Canada Post is utterly useless!miztes (7 months ago) #29391459Yeah, been having this problem with them for a few months now. They'll always just drop it off at the nearby post offices instead of delivering it straight to my doorstep, making me run all over the town picking up my packages.
