kaisuke14 days ago#103919152hmmm maybe the autofilling-from-zipcode thing is a new thing cus i don't think it ever came up like that for me, as far as i remember when i first ordered from them i had to do it all manually (thinking emoji) maybe try make an account (if you haven't already) and add your address under the account details instead of through the ordering screen? other than that i'm out of ideas dfgbjdsfh

Yeah no I checked my account details my address and number are fully registered in there but when I select an item to buy I still can't progress past shipping / input things. My phone number doesn't format right, my eircode isn't a valid zip code. Seems like I uh, just can't order from mandarke :')

Rushnn14 days ago#103914340Oh yeah im definitely not getting anything from there atm ^^" taric codes have messed up enough of my damn orders already.
But yeah maybe that's what I'm doing wrong? I haven't set the country? I didn't know that was something you could do/ idk where it is. I would try to put a product in the basket, take it to check out and once it got to the address stage It had the "put in your zip code and it will automatically fill in your address"
And when I put in the Eircode ir just. Didn't fill out. And because its automated I can't go in and write it so I could never get past inputting the address. But if everyone else can order I must be doing something wrong then orz

kaisuke14 days ago#103909114oh that's strange! i've always been able to use them as normal, never used a proxy or anything, and i've been buying stuff from them for 4 or 5 years. i just make sure the country is set to ireland and then have my eircode in the postcode bit and i've never had any problems (besides this mess which is all an post's fault lol). have no idea why it wouldn't work for you :( probably best to avoid them for now anyways though until all this customs shite is sorted LMFAO

Once it comes to shipping eircodes don't work like zip codes so I cant get past that stage..sorry if this is a stupid question just really would love to know how to actually buy from them. Missmxify22 days ago#103608792Absolute joke, a state postal service that can't deliver international post. Solaris have been good to deal with through all this and they'll get a courier quote if you wish. Mandarake not as good to deal with. One package that was sent back to them, they refunded item but not postage cost which was actually more. Few good EU sites around but can be pricey. I find this one in Spain is best price wise and they offer instalment payment options (yay!) www.global-frea... and sometimes penguinscrown.c... because they offer free postage.

it's SUCH a joke lol at least solaris are doing their best from what i can see so i'm happy to wait for them, but i'm just gonna give up on mandarake and consider it a lost cause since even if that package does turn up i'll probably get overcharged for something that's not my fault either way lmao. thanks so much also!!! i'll be bookmarking these for the future hehehe

kaisuke26 days ago#103491969since people are talking about the absolute hames an post is making of everything ever, i just wanna share my experience so far lmfao. in late july i ordered a figure from solaris and a figure from mandarake, both arrived in ireland sometime in august and after sitting in the depot for about a week and a half they both got sent back. near the end of september i got an email from solaris saying they'd gotten the package back and would sent it again free of charge whenever they learn wtf is going on and haven't heard anything else since
the really fun bit is the one from mandarake though. that got marked as being returned to sender on the tracking on the 17th of august and never had another update. only this week i decided i should probably look into that lmfao and i emailed an post asking if it'd gotten lost and all they said was the copy & paste response about "customs declaration information supplied by the sender contains insufficient data", so i DM'd them on twitter instead being more specific, and they said if it hasn't arrived back in Japan yet, i need to take it up with the sender instead. so i emailed mandarake asking if it arrived, and if it hasn't, what my options are if it's gotten lost, and got another copy & paste response back about the customs situation which i am More than aware of and is not what i'm asking
literally don't even have the energy to email them again and be like No Can You Actually Read What I Said This Time. i'm guessing it just got lost on the way back and since it was shipped as air small packet there wouldn't be any insurance anyway so that's like 35 euro down the drain. the real kick in the teeth is that that package had made it as far as athlone before getting sent back so it was literally only 20 mins away from me ahaahaaaa. i'm going insane
also if anyone can recommend sites based within the eu to order figures from from now on/until this all gets sorted that hopefully aren't overpriced to fuck, i'd appreciate it :]

Missmxify3 months ago#100767508So very frustrating especially after the long wait to reach here. Mine was from Solaris who said they're looking for clarification from JapanPost regarding customs declarations. Have 2 more packages on way so worried they're going to be returned too aggh.

I had a parcel sent back from Solaris and had another 2 due out the next month. They said they would hold my orders until they hear back about what's going on with An Post. That was August. My 2 orders were for September and I still have no news. I have orders from AmiAmi coming out this month so if Solaris releases them I'll likely have to pay STUPID money for them all...I appreciate solaris's pay up front system but I fear having to pay customs fees ON TOP of the Amiami figure prices and their shipping ToT I'm not sure if I should email solaris for an update yet..

xiya2 months ago#102290021Yep, I've seen on trust pilot that some stores blacklisted Ireland so I'm afraid that'll eventually happen here. Has the package arrived back with Ninoma? I've no experience with them but hopefully you get sorted. Yeah don't even waste your time honestly, I managed to get a hold of them once in July when this all started, they told me not to worry and that the parcel is just sitting in Dublin due to covid delays. I thought fair enough, then it got sent back 3 days later lol

Didn't hear about the blacklist, but that's mega shitty. Looks like it'll be ordering from pricey EU stores from now on... Ninoma received the package, but haven't resent it yet. I sent them another email, hopefully they'll get back to me once the working week starts. No idea if GSC will ever get back to me though.
