Alumina • 7 years ago • #8641125I've played the game for over a year now so I almost have everything there is to collect pretty much. Only stuff really missing are kai versions and trophy destroyers (since I obviously don't have like 50 of them >_>).
You will get Ooi and Hyuuga eventually, Hyuuga is a pretty common drop once you get into the higher maps and especially events. You'll probably have a sea of Kongou-class, Ise-class, and Fusou-class soon.
Unfortunately Fusou class and Ise class are the only BBV so you'll have to wait on that I guess. As a side note they do look a bit better at kai ni but that's a very long ways off for them (level 80+blueprint).
The luck factor in this game can be very frustrating sometimes but in terms of gameplay OTHER than that it's pretty good. I'd rather have it like this, instead of some SSSSSRare that you have to reroll for 10000 times for in a phone game. I don't "need" Bismarck necessarily to beat the game as I have plenty enough battleships, I just want her but desire sensor ;_;
I finally got Ooi and Hyuuga. Now that I have learned to use a Kancolle viewer, I see that Hyuuga is my 2843rd ship, Ooi my 3396th. These are my first ever encounter with these two ships. Ooi dropped for me at E1 this recent Spring 2016 event. I was already HQ level 90+.

I have dedicated my life to being an excellent teitoku to my ship girls for the past month or so. I guess I should consider myself lucky since I got Katori from a random construction, or was it a drop... On the other hand, there are two ships that absolutely do not exist in my game. Ooi and Hyuuga are like unicorns. Never seen them once. And with Hyuuga, I absolutely need her to go with Ise for the 2 BBV quest. I can't stand Fusou and Yamashiro's ridiculous art and refuse to use them. lol what the hell, that's some luck you have at avoiding Bismarck. Which reminds me why I usually avoid games based heavily on luck over skill like this...

Alumina • 7 years ago • #7501901Yeah, CV (carriers) and BB (battleships) eat a ton of resources. Yamato and Musashi in particular are huge offenders on that. Also that's great that you got a few submarines, you can go spam 2-3 for some Orel cruising and to finish your dailies.
As for myself, I guess you could say I'm near the end game here. I'm HQ level 107 and my wife is Kirishima. I have a few other ships that are level 99 but I don't think I want to start a harem or anything (the stats are not negligible though, I suppose).
I believe I have almost everyone in the Kantaidex. The ones that I'm missing that come to my head are Bismarck, Katori, Bismarck, Taihou, Bismarck, and Ryuuhou I guess. Don't want to invest in Ryuuhou since I like Taigei better (and Ryuuhou is an awful CVL, but she's very pretty). (Also, Did I mention I'm still missing Bismarck? View spoilerHide spoiler) I'm also missing a few Kai Nis but I just haven't had the time to grind everything out as of late.
