    Hi!
I completed Blade some days ago but I'm wondering if there aren't different ends for this game. View spoilerHide spoilerI mean it ends after nine chapters, when the spirit kings entrust Sakuya with the blossom mode and she sings to heal the world. But I've read on the web that there's a tenth chapter with Sakuya's kiss. I assume I made a mistake somewhere.
Can someone tell me how to access this chapter? PM if you don't want to spoil.
    Thanks!

alazif03 (4 years ago) #3274988Yes, bit by bit, new characters can join the party, that was a good surprise for me too. Some ennemis are tough so any help is welcome!
All the games don't take place in the same world. Some characters like Ranah (Elwing) and Sakuya I guess, can easily go from one world to another. If you want to know more about Tears and Wind, you should watch the anime which is more interesting than Shining Hearts one. I don't know if it's true to the game stories though (I haven't a PS2 so I can't play Tears nor Wind). I didn't read completely Blade and Ark book, but it seems that some characters from Hearts come from the world where the story of Blade takes place (more or less); Rick for instance. That's why they appear in Hearts and Blade.
As soon as I can, I'll take pics of Resonance book. This time, I couldn't wait for the English version, LOL! Now that I have 3 books of the Shining visual material collection, I can tell you that Blade and Ark is the most beautiful because there are plenty of art works. But Hearts is interesting since it explains a lot of thing about the Shining series.
I knew that there is a chronology by watching Shining TearsXWind anime. Maybe the story of Hearts lost a part of its mystery if you play Blade before. However since Hearts has been released before, it mustn't be a bother if you don't follow the timeline.

Yes, I’ll probably watch the Shining TearsXWind anime soon to learn more about the characters, world, and such…though I might skip the anime for Shining Hearts. I do have a PS2; I’ll eventually pick up both Tears and Wind after I’m done beating the other Shining games first then I’ll be sure to let you know if the anime stays true to the game. Ah, yes that completely makes sense regarding the characters that appear in Hearts and Blade. Thanks for clearing up the confusion.

Okay, I will wait patiently for you to post the pics of Shining Resonance book. Wow really…that’s awesome to hear about there being plenty of artworks in the Blade and Ark books. How many pages does each of the Shining visual material collection books have?

I think chronology maybe Shining Tears and Wind are the first two games in the series timeline correct? You said Blade takes place before Hearts…though not sure where that puts Ark and Resonance at? Lol

I have a question concerning Blade Arcus from Shining Ex; I believe they said that they would add some new playable characters that weren’t in the arcade version into both the PS3 and PS4 versions right because so far only these characters were in the arcade version shining-world.j.... Anyway, if I need any help at all with Hearts, I’ll be sure to ask you :)

Tiena-hime (4 years ago) #3273308View spoilerHide spoilerI didn't know that there was a particular order or timeline to play the games in...Oh well! ^^ Do you know if the games take place in the same world because I noticed that some of the characters from the older Shining games, such as, Shining Tears, Wind, and Hearts are playable in Blade? I can't confirm it due to the fact that I don't have any of the collection of Shining visual material books. I see that you have ITEM #299455, so I was just wondering if its not too much trouble do you mind taking some pictures of the inside of the art book for me.
Okay, You'll be the first to hear my impressions regarding Hearts :) Oh really, you can choose what characters join your party sounds cool definitely cannot wait to play it now! I wholeheartedly agree!

alazif03 (4 years ago) #3273082Ok, I'll ask if I'll need some help with Shining Resonance. But it won't be soon because I'm planning to play the games chronologically... though I read in ITEM #164275 that Blade takes place before Hearts. I was waiting for the English version of the book which has just been released so it's too late. Anyway, it's not a big deal and I'll go on like this.
I'm looking forward to your impressions about Hearts when you play it. I also intend to play Hearts alongside Neris because I like archers too. That's why Alvin often joins Rick and Amil for fighting. But I also like inviting Xiao Mei, Melty and Rouna. Almost all characters are great, so it can be hard to make a choice!

Tiena-hime (4 years ago) #3271427I bought Shining Hearts and Shining Blade today! I'm not sure what partner I'll choose for Rick since all three of the girls are very beautiful. This is going to be a tough choice..hmm..well I really like archers so maybe Neris? Yeah, I heard about the anime being a bit boring from a variety of people on the internet; however, I never seen it. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. By the way, if you need any help with Shining Resonance don't hesitant to ask because I already beat it a while ago :)

alazif03 (4 years ago) #3242099I'm awaiting NY to open the PO and I'll go with the limited edition for sure!

I'm actually waiting for the preorders for ITEM #287819 to go up on AmiAmi because I want to determine whether I should buy the limited edition or the regular edition after seeing what Rinna's price is first.
