The figure as a whole is pretty but the face is so flat, I can't justify getting it for that price when the face is the main thing I care about. Still hoping for a good Hua Cheng in the future... or at least some Nendos. yeah I was actually considering buying it when I saw the art because I loved his expression so much and I was really hoping they would capture it but it seems they didn’t even try. It’s a shame because the figure is pretty but hollow with the lack of expression. it would be really cool if they made a nice figure of hua cheng and focused on the expression more. I was pretty surprised that they made nendos for scum system before tgcf and not only the regular ones but nendoroid dolls too.

Same here. I had a figure that was leaning and she eventually fell over after several months. This figure is beautiful but it makes me nervous

varsitycrush • 1 month ago • #90110088the figure is beautiful, but compared to the original art the face falls very flat. if I had nothing to compare it to I wouldn't be so critical but they didn't capture how evocative and pretty his expression was in the original art at all. still worth getting for fans of tgcf but it's a shame that they didn't put more effort into capturing his expression. I feel like there's a faint hint of a smile on the figure's face but I could be making that up? it's a pretty figure regardless. I completely agree.
