This is seriously gorgeous but the rods are awful. I'll wait to see the final product but if it's bad then I'll just get a resin cast and build it myself lol.

Y'all should be glad that they give you supports for the hair, instead of risking her leaning or breaking honestly.. A lot of people complained about that figure in general, to be fair, and for these prices they should be able to do better than prize-quality hair support.

Amy471011 month ago#92812976Is the figure not attached to the tree? Because I've only ever seen those little plastic stands for the hair on, like... prize figures of Miku, where the pigtails come detached. And if you're saying the plastic is excusable to stabilize the figure on the tree, look at Item #467223 or Yae Sakura by Miyoho. Both are figures that sit on trees/branches and are kept in place by magnets and they stay in place pretty solidly. And I say this because I own both of them and I've never had a problem with them slipping or falling.
My point is that "floating figures", IE, figures that can sit suspended on a branch like this, is possible, and $200 for a figure that can't use a magnet to keep the figure in place isn't worth it. And if the little plastic stands is to keep the pigtails from breaking off or something, then that just tells me it's poorly made.

If you're talking about this Yae Sakura, of course it's understandable that she doesn't have any support on her hair, because overall she seems like the weight is well balanced and doesn't have any bulky part. It's a completely different case with this Miku, that has two enormous pigtails. It would have been irresponsible (or even impossible) from Spiritale to just make her balance in a magnet, there's just no way to make her stable other than the support poles that they gave her, and i think they actually did a very good job; i'm pretty sure that making a giant chunk of hair like that stabilize in such a little piece of plastic wasn't easy.

bunnygirl3 months ago#89683120does anyone have a guide on how to order through a proxy on spiritale? lol

I posted this on another figure but it fits here too so I’ll post it again.

I ordered through Neokyo in the US (I don’t know if they ship elsewhere) it’s a simple process just create buy request
copy the name of the item into item name space. (The name is right below the main picture of the item)
then copy the URL into the URL space.
Then enter the price in ¥ into the price space.
Submit.
Wait a few hours to a day or so to get a payment request.
Pay it.
Wait a few more hours to a day for them to send a second payment request to cover the shipping to the warehouse.
Pay that.
Wait for item to come in stock.
Create packing request.
Wait for it to be packed.
Pay for shipping.
Wait.

I hope this helps some people. I know it can be daunting trying to figure out how to get Japanese exclusive figures from sites you trust. I have used them several times now and I find the fees reasonable. I haven’t had any issues at all yet. They are listed as a trusted site on this page’s buy page as well which is why I gave them a chance and I’m glad I did.

GerardHaZ1 month ago#92342424Well, that's how physics work. It would be worse if they didn't give any stand at all and have an unstable figure that can break at any moment. Plus I think that the stands are well placed and depending on where you place the figure, they won't attract much attention. If you want floating figures, I think you'll have to wait some more decades for that to happen lol
