FoxAudio1 day ago#95698339If she's not wearing shorts underneath that gown, I'm going to be very upset.

She has to be, otherwise they tricked us with a clone. Maybe she matured a bit and upgraded to boys style, tighter briefs. But it better be of the shorts variety. Haha.

rogue_g2 months ago#91639867ZenMarket are a good proxy, no worries going with them. One thing to consider for BiJ is you can ask them to reduce the declared value of the shipment to avoid duty in most cases. Not something that most proxies are willing to do, liabilities and all that.
Based on the pictures, it's strongly leaning towards heads and not face plates that interchange since the veil is pictured only with the one expression. But the photographer could also have been lazy.

I’m in the US and have never had to pay any type of customs fees. I think the value is much higher than other countries before they become taxable.

figurejunkie202 months ago#91639590I know Revolve has decent figures. I have a couple. I just didn’t know how much emphasis I should put on the producer in terms of her quality.
I went with ZenMarket because a friend highly recommended them. She was cheaper than BiJ. Don’t know what shipping will be like, but my friend told me they have reasonable shipping prices. So, unless she’s over $50 to ship, it will be cheaper. Either way, I’m just glad I got her reserved.
And yeah. I like her closed mouth face much better. I wonder if the entire head is removable or if the hair can be switched out to display that one without the veil. Not a dealbreaker.

rogue_g2 months ago#91629912I have a couple figures from Revolve and their quality is decent. Based upon the pictures, they most certainly can produce to the quality standard you see in the prototype.
If you want her for the open mouth expression I would pass, they went the lazy route and didn't sculpt any depth. But the stock expression is great, so definitely worth just for that. I recommend BiJ as you stand to save a bit going through them compared to most proxies in my experience.
As for whether it's worth the cost, well.. that's up to you. I went and proxied ITEM #805856 just to get the winking face, it's silly but that's part of this hobby. Given the exclusive nature of this release, proxy during the order window will be the cheapest way to get her.

figurejunkie202 months ago#91507356Most of the figures I order don’t have a producer listed on here. The producer for this figure only has one other figure, and it was shitty. But, the manufacturer was Aniplex. How much emphasis should I be putting on this producer? I have been researching the difference between the two and asking people for literally hours. I just want someone to tell me what to do at this point. I don’t want to pay a lot through a proxy for a figure whose quality is uncertain.

I am in the US. I went with ZenMarket. It’s a very simple process for a pre-order. A friend of mine highly recommended it. She got a box of 40 figures with $250 shipping, which is really damn good. She said the shipping is comparable to AmiAmi. The process was similar to the post below. You just copy and paste the url from the description below and add a few details in a comment box. They track down the figure. I got an email within 5 hours saying they found it. You pay a 300 yen fee, which I hear is the cheapest. Plus domestic shipping, which is 900 yen. And the cost of the figure. It came out to $237.61. I will get a notification once they buy it and it has arrived at their store. Once it gets there, you pay for international shipping.

I have also asked people and done research on other proxies. Neokyo and FromJapan seem to be solid choices. I’ll let people know in October how my experience went.

Chito-chan2 months ago#91573962If people are interested, she's on BiginJapan too, no need to necessary use Neokyo.

This is true but it cost about $20-$30 more dollars that way.
