Remember my broken figure I got .... months ago? I finally was able to ship her back, and I will receive a new one. I won't get my hopes up before I have this new and unbroken figure in my hands though.

At least 2 months later... still a broken figure and a not really helpful Nippon-Yasan.TomTheCat6 years ago#1915679I'm afraid N-Y won't be very helpful. But let's see what they say first.
I'm not an expert on glues and their properties concerning certain materials. But I assume that super glue should work. At least I'm told that it does indeed work, although all that I ever managed to glue with it are my fingers. The stuff that I wanted to glue though just refused to go together >_<
Either way, if the head doesn't even need to be removed for any particular reason, you should just go for it. For more sturdiness, I'd even recommend to "pin" the neck. Drill two holes, one into each part you want to join together. Take care that the position of the holes is correct so as not to get some sort of offset. Glue a pin, preferably metal, into one hole. Allow to cure, then check if the other part fits properly, then glue it onto the pin.

Marco-Kun6 years ago#1912224I emailed Nippon-Yasan first to see what they can do for me.. I will try to repair it after that. They are closed till January 5 though ^^"... I'm not experienced with this anyway. Can I glue it with regular superglue or do I need something else, considering this is Candy Resin?
I'm not sure why they made her head like this anyway. It doesn't need to be removed to remove the clothing. On the top of the peg (the neck), is a magnet which goes into the bottom of the head. The bottom part, which goes in her body, is broken on my figure. I cannot remove this part of the peg since it's broken off equally to her body, if that made sense.
