What are those guns....

He does look a lot better than the first version though. A great way to see how much the line evolved in the last few years.

Silvery just an earth-bound misfit
Michawk3175 months ago#97999844Given that Revoltech has been getting better at giving figures good vanilla poses, I think the same would do via a different sculpt for a classic Spider-Man, who looks really off just standing there. The length of his neck is also jarring, and makes it look that in addition to a spider, Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive giraffe. It works for the Joker since sometimes he has a long neck, but not for Spidey. A new head sculpt would do too, there's a certain image on the Revoltech's Spider Gwen page that highlights that weird "half head" thing he has going on. More comic accurate eyes of varying styles would do as well, but that's more of a nitpicky thing along with my feelings on his general proportions. Given that more and more classic Spidey outfit figures are able to provide good articulation while not sacrificing aesthetic via the ugly joints, and how Revoltech improved as shown with their Iron Spider figure, I'd like to see them revisit the old red and blue using what they learned from Iron Spider.
This, and I would like them to revisit Gwen, too - her unmasked head is too small and it looks really jarring - which is a shame, as otherwise she's a really nice Revo. I don't think Gwen 2.0 is ever going to happen, though. A new Spider-man might, but not Gwen.

Don't buy it yet! They say there will be exclusive parts for the official store, but they haven't revealed them yet.

I agree with everything you said about classic Spider-Man. I ordered him recently because I want to have a Yamaguchi Spider-Man. But it's my least favorite Yamaguchi (even though Spider-Man is a great character). They've definitely gotten better. Iron Spider looks awesome. Would like to have another classic Spider-Man.
