Zetsubo-san I LOVE HUMANS!!! (or do I? XD)
Finally a credible source about Odin. :D

I'd agree with Shiva being a lot better. Despite all that Korova Milk Bar references, she definitely outclasses Odin in all aspects.

Perhaps Odin is not suited for action poses such as the one imitating the front cover of the FFXIII game with Lightning astride. Rather, he's better displayed inside a detolf in either modes standing beside Lightning. ^^;

Arrived today.

I'm a rabid fan of the FF Play Arts series, owning all of the previously released figures. But this is the first one I actually regret buying, after nearly 6 years of collecting.

Presentation wise, it's a phenomenal and impressive figure to show off. The attention to detail is simply amazing. No complaints there.

Functionality wise, they really dropped the ball on this one, and hard...

- Easily broken ornaments.
- The transformation into his human-form is simply dreadful and unnecesarily complicated.
- Clunky as hell and unbalanced in weight.
- Impractical joints.
- The Zantetsuken-blades can be fit into Lightning's hands, but are way too heavy for the figure to support them.
- The front legs and back legs differ in height and this causes all kinds of balancing problems.
- The stand is poorly made, wiggles far too much and offers no support at all to this bulky figure.
- The height of this figure (in human form) is atrocious, I can guarantee it won't fit in 90% of the display cases.
- The hefty price tag is NOT justified.

In short: stay well clear of this figure and buy the FFXIII Shiva bike instead, if you are interested in one of the "larger" Play Arts-releases.
