Had this happen to mine this week. Brand new / sealed Alphard, assembled carefully, displayed in Detolf ~2 years ago, not handled since.

Repaired mine with 2-part automotive epoxy. After letting it cure for ~2 days, it is stronger than the original PVC joint.
