Hard to tell which ones will (it's only easy with the obvious, like the sanrio miku Collab). View spoilerYou can kinda get the vibe based on how active conversation around the figure is and how desperate people seem to want to pre-order, how many people seem to be cancelling pre-orders etc etc. but even then it's not a complete tell
With all figures you have a decent window at release where some stores will have stock and people are selling their unwanted purchase.
Only starts to get expensive after a few months when that "window" dies down, plus, since miku is overall an "evergreen" type of popular; even after a certain time her "unpopular/under the radar" figures either hold value or go up because there will always be /someone/ who wants one.
Even miku figures that ppl have issues with like ITEM #887263 , ITEM #1141381 , ITEM #1085445 either hold their value or go up in the market (I have no idea of ppl actually pay those prices tho)
