viking (3 years ago) #2043756Details are still poor
When you see a post like this one wonders if we are even looking at the same pictures. I'll never understand people randomly hating on Koto.

A troll comment... Nobody is forced to agree with the majority, but from my stand, a person who have seen hundreds of figures, good and bad ones, I say that Olivia is among the very best figurines I've seen so far. People may say that she isn't all that magnificent, fair enough, however saying things like "poor details" is just for the pleasure of trolling around.

freshringo (3 days ago) #27149014After removing her torso to put on her belt, I absolutely cannot get the torso back on properly. There are grooves where I assume her breastplate is supposed to fit in against, but there's a bit of space left when I put her torso back on -- and I used a lot of force too. Also, her wings do not seem to go all the way into the slots so the clear pegs show a bit (hidden by her hair). Is this expected?

I hadnt issue placing the torso back so idk.
But for the wings i had trouble too, and i usually don't put too much force, because i'm always worried to break anything. The trick is to put the wings while you have removed the torso from the rest of her body, it was easy then for me to put the wings on. Then again idk for the torso, it should be even more annoying to put it back with the wing placed ..

Good luck ^^'

Naoki (1 month ago) #25865298I think I got the second release but I'm not sure about it. There's a screw in the base which is holding the socket where you put Olivias' feet on.
Here are some pictures. Hope this helps.

oh my god i got mine today from a seller who got her new and sealed from amiami and mine has the exact same problem!!! It looks like the glue has dissolved over the years. I'll probably leave her as she is for now because she only made squeaky noises and fell off when i tried to remove her torso and superglue her back on the weekend.

Solarstormflare (1 month ago) #25859883I'm not an expert, but from the research I did on this figure, It sounds like you got the first release when she was just glued to the base which had issues with detachment and leaning. The second and third releases feature a metal screw which keeps her firmly on her base. It's hard to be sure exactly what you mean without pictures, but I would suggest leaning her against a wall so she won't fall down. Good luck!
