So there wasn't really any residue left when it came off, so what I eventually did was take a tiny bit of leftover clear UV resin from some mini-food blind box kit, and put it on the "peg". Then I slipped it back into the little slot in her hand and cured it with a UV flashlight. Worked flawlessly and it hasn't given me any trouble, it can move and twist like I imagine it is supposed to. I recommend resin, to avoid brittleness or discoloration, BUT in a pinch a very very small amount of super glue should still be ok I would think.

I'm also wrestling with what to use to reattach the frog...I have Zap A Gap Medium CA+ but am worried about discoloration. I also have Loctite Super Glue Gel Control which I'm leaning more towards but will probably apply it with a toothpick

There's no real peg and it was very dangly already... wondering if this has ever happened to anyone before, and if a little touch of superglue will be enough to reconnect it.
