I wonder if Magic eraser would clean up the paint bleed/transfer.

Also wonder if clear coating the bell would solve the issue.

randomly came here on a whim and saw there was paint bleed issues. checked mine and had a tiny spot where the bell touched her skin. cant see it unless you remove the bell. im going to try painting a layer of gloss varnish on the bell since i had some on hand for model stuff, see if that helps.

Well the figure was released in 2015 lol. The repaint experiment from an earlier poster looked pretty promising tbh.

It's always the golden paint, especially when the figures are in their box, have seen golden paint dissolve on multiple PVC figures, for example Kotobukiya Iron Man 1/6 or the old Batgirl Bishoujo 1/7 - if you really "rub" on the golden paint it just comes off and is a bit sticky when you touch it.

Just checked my Houki, she also has a tiny spot, but it's only where the bell makes direct skin contact and it's only noticeable when I lift it.

Any idea how it can be prevented?
