I had the luck of finding this figure as a bargain item to a local shop, complete with the bonus mat and plaque, so I instantly bought it. It's a very nice figure overall and I just love the fact that you can undress both Cattleya and Rana. In the box there are several spare glasses for Cattleya, which are useful because they're tiny and it's pretty easy to lose them and also come in two different styles to choose from: with or without side arms. The sculpt is nice and detailed.

I would easily consider this a 9/10 figure if it wasn't for the castoff option, which is easily one of the most poorly designed I've ever seen. Undressing Rana is no problem since both his arms and his head can be detached, but Cattleya is another story: her outfit is made by a single piece of soft ABS which is secured by the removable ribbon on the back, and in order to remove the outfit you have to slip the thong between her legs first, then slip the straps over her shoulders before finally lifting up the whole piece. Since only her head can be removed but not the arms, slipping the shoulder straps requires some extreme amount of stretching the plastic, which can easily lead to break it. In fact, that's what happened when I was trying to put it back on her, no matter how delicately: the back attachment point of the right shoulder strap snapped, partly because the plastic had hardened a bit with time. I was mad at first, but I quickly realized that, ironically, it's almost better this way: by applying a bit of pressure to the strap it remains more or less in place on its own, making the damage barely visible and allowing for a much easier placement or displacement of the outfit. I really don't understand why they didn't make at least her left forearm removable - the seam would've easily be concealed by the gauntlet - and opted for such a damage-inducing solution instead, especially considering that the castoffable outfit tends to leave paint transfer like crazy if rubbed on the figure's surface.

It's still a really nice product for the price asked, definitely worth buying, but you gotta be extra careful with it if you don't want to ruin it badly.

Question: Does the exclusive also include the art/post cards? I see the packaging is different.
Never mind, that's the other version. Too tired for MFC.
