ViRGE (1 year ago) #31043978Glad to hear you were able to find one at a decent price. I had to go a similar route last year - a figure in an open box - and even then I paid a decent bit more than you did. I'm not sure whether it was a small production run or what, but this figure has certainly appreciated in the last 3 years.
Of course, I can certainly see why it's appreciated in value - in fact you can even say I appreciate it. She really is a nice figure: large 1/4 scale with plenty of detail, real fishnets, an alluring pose, and the face is a nice departure from the anime style of the original character. If you look at the other Hyakki Yakou figures she's really something of an aberration, but definitely a diamond in the rough and has quickly become one of my favorites. So I expect you'll be pleased.
Random aside: it's not listed in the database, but does anyone know who might have sculpted Oliga? Given what the sculptor was able to do here, I'm curious what their other figures are like.

Yea I am waiting super impatiently for her to arrive.

I checked on GSC's website and it lists FREEing as the sculptor. I am guessing that whoever the scultpor is, they are under a contract working inhouse for them.

Xyes (1 year ago) #31043525With a help of a reddit user, I managed to find one on Mandarake. The item description said, checked by manufacturer, open but unused. With EMS shipping it totaled to 23,900 yen. Hopefully the condition is as described.Glad to hear you were able to find one at a decent price. vza004 (1 year ago) #31043229For a 1/4th scale, it's actually a really good price. I don't know the current running price though!
