Selling mine like-new: CLASSIFIED #139702

As much as I love this figure, she managed to lean back so much over time that the pegs broke off and are stuck in her shoes. I should have seen it coming but oh well. Guess I'll just have to make a custom base. To anyone who buys her make sure you give her some back support!

Yes the base is a piece of crap totally inadequate for such a gorgeous figure, mine broke about a week ago while I was dusting it, Im thinking of getting a custom build wood base much like the ones Funny Knights includes in their Kancolle releases.

Has anyone else had issues with her pegs being too small and weak to hold her up? She was leaning backwards horribly for a while, then finally she snapped off on her smaller base. She fell, one of her heels snapped off, I lost her heart shaped smoke piece for like 2 months, and the base itself got all scratched up. I ended up having to drill new holes in her base and using small metal tubes to replace the pegs. Then I had to use a heat gun to soften her shoes enough to pull the broken pegs out, which widened the holes a little. Then I had to use the heat gun again to soften and cut up one of those clear circular mini bases you get with Nendo accessories to make 2 little props for her heels to slide into to hold her up straight. Then I had to paint the whole thing black to cover up the scratches, drilling, cuts, metal tubes, and glue fume residue. I'm so disappointed in the lack of strength in her pegs. I always thought they were too shallow, and I never displayed her with Ren-kun attached. I can only imagine the weight would have made things worse faster. And of course since this all happened too late after I got her I couldn't file for any sort of customer service help. Thankfully her main body didn't receive any damage, so she's still perfectly beautiful. I just don't know what to do with the base now that it's plain matte black.

ipwnboyz (1 year ago) #16127793I warmed up mine a bit with a hair dryer. It made it easier to remove so I would recommend that method.

Thanks for the advice, I will try it when I am off work tomorrow. ^^
