The fact that they aren't shipping you a new figure or won't repair it for you (medicom would) doesn't sit well with me.

Yep. The customer service is half baked. They have shoddy English and even though I clearly explained and sent them the same pictures I will send you they only sent thumbs. Ignored the wrist fiasco. I actually asked for an exchange and I would pay shipping both ways. They didn't care.

nuriko12 (1 year ago) #22411440thats the problem. the only fix is a very sturdy glue on the sword arm for that joint. you wont be able to pose the sword dynamically. when i tired getting the snapped part of the wrist out of his arm it would not come out so i thought i would just scrape it out piece by piece. even that didnt work. his wrist joint is done. hence the low price. if you have alot of figures like a spare RAH joint or you can buy a 1/6 joint and your good at modding then you have a chance but to me it was so heartbreaking i just cant deal with it. i took him out of the box and in an hour he was done. brand new straight from 3zero too. i will send pictures later if you want but anyone looking to grab him the price is low for a reason. shipping is probably around 13-15 depending usps. i will throw in 1 of the extra thumbs.

Ugh that sounds terrible. I do have extra RAH parts/bodies though. I'd like to see a few pictures if it's not that much of a bother to you. It may be something over my head in terms of modding though.

I'm surprised Three Zero didn't send you a brand new figure at that point, if the joint is completely shot straight out of the gate. I was a bit wary about the brand, people seem happy with their figures though for the most part, however I heard a lot of complaints about their shoddy quality on other forums. I have a few of the RAHs (hmm, I may be past a few) and people complain about those breaking but they are tricky to get used to how each joint moves so if someone isn't familiar I can see it breaking easily/warranting a complaint. I'm not sure threezero is the same, but you assume someone buying him is a collector and knows how to handle things, you know?

I guess what I'm saying is the jury is still out for me for threezero, even though they have tempting figure series (dorohedoro). The fact that they aren't shipping you a new figure or won't repair it for you (medicom would) doesn't sit well with me.

maggie (1 year ago) #22335272If you're giving him up for that cheap please PM me I'd be interested if I can see the damage, I don't mind a fixer upper. Depends on if I CAN fix it tho...

nuriko12 (1 year ago) #22329828me too they sent me 2 thumbs but no second wrist joint no arm. so i will end up buying another. its disheartening. i own so many figures but i was so excited for this one. i was giddy when the box came in so it was quite the let down. im going to sell guts with the extra thumbs and wrist joint issues as is for maybe 100 bucks, half the price of what i payed so someone else can try to do what they want and i can put some more money towards a new one.

nuriko12 (1 year ago) #21039100yeah they are sending a replacement thumb but i have no idea how im supposed to get it on without breaking it.
as someone with a large collection id like to think i handle my figures gently and know how to by now. its not his shoulder or elbow that was weak it was the wrist ball joint on mine. i did the hairdryer method as instructed no problems for the hand but as soon as i went to put his hand back in thats the joint that ruined everything.

damn, sorry about that :/
i did the heat method too, but once i adjusted his grip, i let it cool down, then popped the hand back in. maybe you popped it in too quick while it was still hot?? but still i agree, that the wrist joint should be made from a better plastic to endure anyything. i mean you followed their instructions carefully. they should have added, "once grip is adjusted to sword, let it cool off for 30mins" or they should do better QC on the joints :| do you still have him? did they ever send you an arm?

anyway, i just got my replacement thumb! they actually sent me 2 thumbs lol
